Shabazz: Black Panthers a Reminder to Obama of ‘Where He Comes from’ & Are the ‘Moral Consciousness of This Nation’

In another recent radio rant, New Black Panther Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz took dead aim at the current president and his policies.  The Panthers, who were at the center of a voter intimidation case in 2008, have lost much love for our current Chief Executive.

Chairman Shabazz describes the roll that he believes the Black Panthers serve for the President:
“We are the voice of consciousness of the president of the United States of America. We are that reminder to him of that who he really is, and where he comes from, his people. We are, when it comes to the black people and the justice they deserve, the moral consciousness of this nation, and we always have been.”

You got a deal Shabezz. You bring your people to my voting place on the Eastern Shore and attempt to block me from voting, there will be blood. You are not helping black people with your radical bullshit. As a Black American and a veteran this guy is a problem to us as well. And Obama calls white people racist?

Exactly how much "justice" was meted out to black people BY OTHER BLACK PEOPLE just yesterday in the ghettos of New York? It AIN'T white people killing and maiming black people. And white people aren't stealing your "justice". He's the "consciousness" of the black people? He MUST have a pretty guilty conscience...When HE and others like Jackson, Farrakhan, & Sharpton are the best LEADERS and spokespersons you can come up with, well, you're in trouble....Black people RIDICULE people like Condeleeza Rice, Alan West, Colin Powell etc, because they speak of self-reliance, hard work, integrity, and moral values. Apparently, you get more "play" in the black community by crying "racism", blaming everyone but yourself, and demanding more and more free stuff. And THAT has worked out GREAT for the black community so far, huh?

Some of you talk a good game. I wonder how many would follow through.

Years ago I was working at a safety sensitive place. Most everyone would complain about how they would have to break rules and laws to do their job.

When I took action on it and tried to get those same people involved, suddenly everyone was scared of losing their job.

No one stepped forward with me. I brought about change there by myself, while everyone else ducked and covered.

I lost all respect for them that day and told them I don't want to hear a single one complain again.

I suspect it would be the same in a situation concerning this.

Everyone would be RIGHT BEHIND the one that did anything.

Like they are RIGHT BEHIND Codi and Colin and West? Farrakhan has more people chanting and singing in the aisles as he spews hatred and victimhood than Condoleeza Rice could EVER assemble at a rally. Of course, SHE is smart, has a job, EARNED everything she has and has integrity. Never heard her say, even once, that she didn't get this or that because she was a woman. Or black. I HAVE heard her say that she had to WORK harder sometimes to get where she is, but THAT used to be --- USED to be-- the way Americans became , get this now....SUCCESSFUL on their own. I forgot --- she didn't actually do it herself. obama did. I am, like so many others, just tired of hearing that someone didn't get what they wanted, NOT because they dropped out of school, or got arrested 5 times by the age of 21, or had 3 kids at age 18, oh no...its because they are black. Or poor. or "handicapped". You can have (and get) ANYTHING you want in this country. It comes down to how bad you want it, how hard you are willing to work, and how much you are willing to risk and sacrifice to get it. You can even be President.
