So it seems that Laura Mitchell and Sanie Shields are against having the local MSM report stories responsibly and truthfully? Does their vot say they WANT the Times and our two illustrious TV stations lie to the public, make up their own stories and broadcast them for political gain?
Well, that says a lot about their core character. Anybody out there ready for the next election yet?
Shanie says the resolution should have been a Letter to the Editor. How quickly she has forgotten when Mrs Campbell tried that approach the DT's pulled her letter off the online editon!
Gotta love Shields and Mitchell going on how the resolution would have been more appropriate as a Letter To The Editor.
Hey! Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb! Didn't Debbie Campbell once write such a letter and it was pulled by the Daily Times so why in the world would the coucil try that again when they were dissed once? Blame the Daily Times.
Where in the name of heaven did Shanie come up with the idea that the council could be sued for slander?
Pretty tough to do when a) got to prove harm and b) it's true.

Sure appears that way. Not so long ago the DT's along with Lake were responsible for misquoting Mrs Cohen who had to correct them with her own release which they again didn't see fit to publish if my memory serves me correctly.
I truly believe after hearing this that both Shields and Mitchell do not think before they open their mouths. Either they do not think or they have very short memories and have forgotten what the DT's did to both councilwoman when they tried to correct misstatements.
The Daily Times, Ireton and those in his the cabal against Campbell and Cohen deserve one another other -- there's a spot for them at the sewage treatment plant.

These morons Shannie, Ireton, Mitchell (SIM) do not have any intelligence, experience, common sense, math skills or the brains to think for themselves. Are they that blind to the realities? They need their handlers to do a better job. Their personas lack any semblance of a normal intelligent logical person.

I still have terrible nightmares about the time a couple years ago when Shanie was trying to mumble about something and couldn't get it out until she pulled a big piece of candy out of her mouth right on television...LOLOLOL
Every time I hear those two talk , I'm amazed. Shanie is as dumb as a brick and Laura , need I say more.

Yes, the Letter to the Editor rants were quite amusing considering both Mrs Cohen and Mrs Campbell tried that previously and weren't given the courtsey due to them by the Daily Times.
Considering this pattern the DT's has shown the resolution was justifiable and the only necessary course of action for the council to take if they want the truth to be told. This isn't something that's debateable when you look at the previous history of the DT's in regards to the council majority.
They support you, just like we all do Joe.

Wanna know the latest on Iretons's Petition? The software supporting the petition on change.org is VERY primitive and easy to exploit to see the internal workings. Just before the server crashed at 5:30 tonight Jim himself had signed at least 17 times using various names, three different people signed Joe Albero's name and it appears likely that there are approximately 120 to 140 legitimate names. All the rest are fakes or repeat signers.
I feel that the resolution should not have been required but this is needed and required. By the book and by the law, this. I am screaming thank you and once again the ignorance and one sided opinion given by Mitchell shows she is once again out of touch, and I think Sheilds is once again caught being confused. Yes, There Is Government Yes Shanie yes we see what is going on and we are fighting back,
If Ireton and his lap dog Mitchell had that many eligable voters sign the petition, it would be all over the Daily Disgrace.
Shanie is as dumb as they come. She knows she has immunity. If she doesn't know it, she knows TJ Maloney will defend her pro bono, as long as she does what she is told to do.
Shanie is just plain stupid, it's official. She is accusing the council majority of being controlling. What was it called when the Dream Team, which Shields was a part of, were ruling the city? Shanie really needs to retire her position, she's too stupid for words. Laura, Miss Civility, attacking Debbie Campbell is laughable. If you say it you own it, it is what it is. Nice statement from a supposedly educated person. I hope she does better when she is off hob snobbing with the MML on the taxpayers dime.
