Yeah, and also pasted on all their turnout gear.

We don't need another distraction while driving. A sorry idea!

Sounds like Idiocracy to me. Go watch the movie and tell me if I'm wrong.

Put one on the fire boat...no one will ever see it but they will get the money for advertizing. sounds like the city huh?

The Maryland State Highway trucks are doing it. State Farm Insurance is all over their trucks and on road signs. It's a multi-million dollar a year contract.

Who will get the money that is raised? I myself think its tacky. If they are not on a call will they park the vehicle outside the FD so all can see the advertising? If I was looking to advertise I would want to know how visible it will be. How many times does that vehicle leave the department. I bet the lawyers will be their best customers.

It may be a bit tacky, but what other idea does anyone have to raise that type of money? If taxes are raised, all of you will cry bloody murder and claim the end of civilization. If this pays for the trucks and their upkeep, and not one dime comes from your pocket, why do you care?

Who keeps coming up with these asinine ideas?

Do we have any say?

Lord knows they are always driving the fire truck around town for no reason at all - so now if they put ads on the side - they can get money for riding instead of WASTING money riding around!
