More Hidden Obama Administration Spending

UNITED NATIONS – While President Obama reportedly was outraged at the lavish party and gift spending by the General Services Administration, a controversy that prompted agency chief Martha Johnson to resign, the same White House blocked the GSA from releasing records related to questionable spending by the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice.

Rice widely is reported to be on a short list to succeed Hillary Clinton as secretary of state in a second Obama administration.

At issue is the construction of the new office complex hosting the U.S. mission to the U.N., which sits directly opposite U.N. headquarters on Manhattan’s First Avenue.

Insiders allege almost $250,000 was squandered by the U.S.
ambassador on cosmetic changes to her new suite of offices.

The 22-story complex officially opened in October 2011, at a cost of
just over $100 million, up from a projected price tag of approximately $95 million, explained Renee Miscione, spokeswoman at the GSA’s New York City
offices.

Ok folks, so can we atleast all agree that:

#1 pol.'s from both sides of the aisle have consistently fleeced american citizens

#2 today's media (2000-present) has made a big business off of promoting bs stories for the "shock value"

What do you have in this current story? A salacious headline. Followed up by "evidence": griping from folks from a previous administration not in power and some unknowns. And absolutely no context to answer several key questions that would support or refute the headline. As in "what were the modifications?" I mean, if your insider could speak out, you would think they would tell you what was changed.

I'm tired of us all allowing the media, including these blogs who depend on you getting hyped over bs stories, falling for the same old tactics that lead us to one-sided half baked ideas that do nothing but continue the march toward mediocracy at best, at worst total destruction.
