Mind Your Meat Temperature When Cooking On The Grill

Don't forget to take your meat thermometer along when you move your cooking from the range to the grill. Using a thermometer takes the guesswork out of grilling and can prevent a nasty bout of food poisoning. Not all grills cook evenly so it's important to take the temperature of your meat. Just remember these three numbers: 145 degrees F for whole meats, 160 for ground meats and 165 for all poultry.

I agree with Anon 5:52. More of government trying to tell us how to live our lives. Isn't it ironic that people managed just fine for at least 25,000 years and more without Washington, DC?
