Caught Red Handed!

Dear Jan,
It's not often that political corruption is obvious and blatant.
That's why you've got to read this.
Today, Republic Report uncovered that in March, Congressman Tim Holden introduced a bill to allow industrial farmers to dump animal waste into the Chesapeake Bay. He then immediately received $16,000 in reelection campaign contributions from the National Turkey Federation, the National Chicken Council, Dean Foods, and other industrial farming polluters.
It may be legal, but this is blatant conflict of interest that creates a real danger of corruption.
This letter will have so much more impact with your name on it. Holden has a big primary vote coming up, so this kind of activity can actually have an effect.
This is a rare opportunity to show all of America just how bad the money in politics problem is. If you're ready to help spread the word, we've drafted a sample letter to the editor for you to share.
Corruption is disgusting. In this case, literally. Thank you for helping us expose it!
Best,
Graham Lynn

How is this different from Norm Conway accepting a huge cash contribution from the unions the day after the voted for the Wal-Mart bill 27 months ago?

Kinda hard to believe a bill would be introduced that would be titled along the lines of, "Unfettered Animal Waste Dumping Act of 2012."
Methinks a bit of spin and hyperbole involved here.

Yes, and to ask me to believe thet the NWTF who has nothing to do with industrial meat waste products endorsed such a thing is ridiculous! I would like to see the Bill text so I can read this myself before I sign ANYTHING! This person, I presume, has a personal difference of opinion on another matter with the Congressman...
