I always thought it was pretty stupid having only 3 lanes when they built the last one. What were they thinking?
No third bridge...tear down the other two. When I moved her 43 years ago ater getting married to a natural born eastern shoreman, I heard this and couldnt understand it. NOW I DO..
not-so-bad idea, depending on where they put it. midway (like at Deal Island) would be a good idea.
Where would the money come from, the newly raised tolls? The increased toll that we were told was needed to maintain the ones we have now.
They need another way across the bay than the 2 options that we have now. Put another bridge somewhere between the bridge and the tunnel so people could use that.
