Public Workshop Scheduled For Route 1 And Northeast Front Street Overpass Project

Milford -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) invites the public to attend a public workshop to receive an update of the proposed overpass (grade separated intersection) of Route 1 and Northeast Front Street in Milford. The proposed safety improvements for the intersection will be the focus of the March 12th public workshop. Interested members of the public are invited to attend at any time between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Milford Public Library, Lions Club Room in Milford. Attendees will have an opportunity to review display materials and provide comments to representatives of DelDOT. Please use the parking lot in front of the Library across the street near the florist. This project includes the construction of a grade-separated intersection at Route 1 and Northeast Front Street in Milford. The proposed improvements will enhance the capacity and safety of the Route 1 corridor. Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for support of or in opposition to, the proposed project. Comments will be received during the workshop or can be mailed to DelDOT Public Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903-0778. This location is accessible to persons having disabilities.
