Rev. Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham and a prominent evangelical leader in his own right, waded into contentious waters Tuesday when asked for his views on the religious beliefs of President Obama and the GOP hopefuls.
Graham, the CEO and president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, told a Morning Joe panel he couldn't say for certain that Obama is a Christian.
“You have to ask him. I cannot answer that question for anybody. All I know is I’m a sinner, and that God has forgiven me of my sins," Graham said. "You have to ask every person. He has said he’s a Christian, so I just have to assume that he is.”

Graham made a fool of himself and disrespected his father with all this crap.
If Obama is a Christian then I am the Queen of England...wake up people!
Your majesty! Welcome to America. We common folk can't actually read what is in another's heart. Only God can do that. And last I heard, he was the only monarch that could.
8:50 No of course you can read what is in a person's heart. Maybe you have heard the expression that actions speak louder than words. I can't imagine what would make you think that Obama is a Christian.
I can't imagine what would make you think he's not, other than listening to the whack jobs who want us all to be white bread. And no, that is not a racial statement.
"Islam has gotten a 'free pass'". LOL. Bin Laden dead. Taken the fight across the border to Pakistan. Escalated the fight in the Horn of Africa. Aggressively working to choke out Iran. LOL. Yeah, thats one big free pass alright.
Sorry typo.should say..can't read what is in a person's heart.
9:12 What makes you think he is a Chrisitan?
9:12 What do you mean by white bread?
9:12... you can't convince me that was not a racial statement! Maybe you should explain yourself better.
Graham made a statement saying the muslims call him a son of islam. So where did he call Obama a muslim? More liberal bias in the media smear Rev. Graham and cover for the Muslim in Chief.
"you shall know them by their fruits". hmmmm
re:his friends. birds of a feather flock together. hmmmmm
re:his church. preacher speakes of hate and discord. hmmmmm
if you don't work; you don't eat. everyone that is physically and mentally able to work should be working and not living off the earnings of others. obama doesn't believe this.
i can't question his claim to be a christian, but i CAN and WILL question his actions as a christian. we are to judge the fruit and his fruit stinks. again, he may be a christian, but his actions (fruit) doesn't match up.
truth is truth.
Judge and ye be judged. People might want to stay out people's faith. There is a differece in religion and faith.I would be terrified to judge anothers heart knowing what the holy bible says about judging. Those that use the christian including a lot of preachers don't even know where the word christain came from. The word christain came from a man named constiine. Followers of Jesus Christ are to call themselves Holy. Those that are claming to be chistain need to ask the question.Would Jesus say these things about his fellow man?
Keep beating this stupid, stupid drum. You're guaranteeing a second term for President Obama.
9:12 here. It is not up to me to judge if he is a Christian; that's between him and God. If he says he is, then it is not my place to say otherwise. I have seen nothing to make me believe anything different. By "white bread" I mean every day, cookie cutter, run of the mill, etc. The ultra conservatives want everyone to believe the way they do, to act the way they do, to vote the way they do - ie "white bread." God forbid anyone have a different opinion on their personal Christian faith, their political views, etc. Maybe some of us like rye bread. Sorry if my analogy was too abstract! It made perfect sense to me! LOL.
BTW Christian is not a requirement to be president.
10:10, yeah thats just about as much media bias as "what books do you read" was a "gotcha question". lol
11:58 You need to look at the other side of the coin. In my opinion liberals want everyone to believe they way they do, act the way they do,and vote the way they do-ie "white bread". God forbid anyone should be a vocal Christian with strong convictions. It doesn't fit into the cookie cutter, run of the mill "way" that the liberals want. Hmmmm maybe the conservatives are rye bread and you are white bread after all.
