I remember buying a pair of Gaither tickets there.. $90+ by the time the taxes/fees were added.
I told my wife it would be the last one we ever go to.

To be fair, i believe if you buy your tickets at the box office, rather than online, you avoid this fee.

4:01 I thought I had paid a fee the last time I went to the box office, can't remember but I know I had to.

It is the online fee. Deal with it, or take your lazy butt to the box office.

I just got monster truck tickets and they were advertised 20.00 for adult and 10.00 for child...my total was 37.75 after the "fees" were added..and I got my tickets at the box office so its not just online.

3:26 here.. I bought my tickets AT THE BOX OFFICE.

Handling fees are common with show ticket sales. Try buying tickets for any sporting event or show through ticketmaster and see what the fees run. It looks like you have to pay to play no matter where you buy tickets.

A 5 dollar handling fee?! No thank you.

When u goto the box office.. You are still buying your tickets online. Watch the computer screen. They are using the same website..

Here's a case where those legislators - the ones that are so anxious to control our lives with more and more rules and laws - should pass a law that ticket prices should be listed and advertised ALONG with that BS handling fee.
And while they are at it: Try passing legislation that regulates the size of the steamed crabs one may buy. Do it by weight - not size. How many times have you been ripped-off buying what you expected to be "Jumbos" and got a bag full of mediums for $90?

I would be more inclined to go to Civic Center Events if they advertised ticket price with the handling fee included. We need truth in advertising here.
