Isn't it curious that a nation that's broke (US)outfits the Department of Homeland Security with BOATS? The US Coast Guard has been guarding the coast of our homeland for a long time. Oh, yes, the Coast Guard is part of the military and the president wants his own civilian armed force to keep us citizens under control

Somehow, I get the feeling that these new toys WON'T be used to "protect the critical infrastructure", but, instead, be used to harrass and intimidate more American citizens. Nothing like being stopped on the water for a "safety inspection" while looking down the barrel of a .50 cal. The TSA has decided they can now patrol the nations highways and randomly "inspect" anyone they want to (resist, and die trying) and NOW, the Dept of Homeland Security (that name even SOUNDS like some Nazi dream) has decided they need to have high-tech naval vessels. Just in case, you know, there is anyone NOT wearing their safety vests, or carrying an ID while fishing. God help us. He might be the only one that can, now.
