Scammed For Sympathy On The Street

It was a horrible story. A man approached Liza on the street and said that he needed $6 because his mother had just had a stroke behind the wheel of a car and he was short on cash to pay for the tow truck while she was taken to the hospital. It was also a lie.

There was a woman with long dark hair who used to go door to door and worked the Superfresh parking lot asking for an amount like $7.31 to get asthma medicine for her daughter. She'd tell people she worked at BK or lived in the neighborhood, she'd be all teary and crying. She was real believable and often hit women up for the money.
