Resume:
Milton- Delaware State Police detectives have arrested a Milton man for the kidnapping and rape of a female acquaintance that occurred late last night.
The incident began at approximately 11:00 p.m. last night as Felipe Gomez, 33, of Milton, DE, responded to a residence located in the 26000 block of Broadkill Road, Milton, DE, in order to speak with his ex-girlfriend who resides there. Gomez knocked on the door which was answered by a 22 year old female who also resided in the home. Gomez was allowed to enter the residence but became upset after finding out that his ex-girlfriend was not there. He then grabbed the 22 year old female victim around her neck and held a knife to her throat. Gomez then tied the victim up and forced her into the back seat of her car which he then drove to a field located in the area of Clifton Road and Truitt Road, in Milton, where the car became stuck. Gomez then sexually assaulted the victim repeatedly until the following morning.
At approximately 6:00 a.m. this morning (July 3rd) Gomez walked to the home of an off-duty Delaware State Trooper who lived in the area and informed him that he had done something wrong. The trooper took Gomez into custody and called for assistance. The victim also arrived at the Trooper’s residence and was assisted by him until the arrival of EMS who transported her to the Beebe Medical Center where she was treated for her injuries.
Felipe Gomez was charged by detectives with the above list of crimes. He was arraigned at JP Court 3 and then committed to the Sussex County Correctional Center for lack of $1,213,500 cash bail.

Mack, I used to be one of those people that thought all Hispanics should be deported. They were taking all the jobs and collecting welfare at record paces while committing crime after crime only to be held unaccountable because they were illegals. Then I educated myself by watching documentaries and reading about the current state of Mexico. I have to say, even though America is far from perfect (especially lately), I cannot blame many of the Hispanics for wanting to get "outta dodge". If America was as corrupt and dangerous as Mexico currently is, I would take my chances at crossing a boarder to get my family to safety. I can also say there are many Hispanic families that are here for those same reasons. They want some sort of safe haven for their family. Just as "true" Americans have bad seeds so do other countries and unfortunately there is no way to know who is going to be good or bad until after the fact. No one is born to be a violent horrible person and at some point that person makes the choice to be a menace or an upstanding contributor to society.
Grouping all Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Pakistanis, Chinese... into anything other than skin color or nationality is ridiculous. No one races or nationality is all good or bad. Evil comes in all shapes sizes and colors, just as good does.
Although you are entitled to your opinion and thanks to American laws you are permitted to voice those opinions you should really educate yourself to the whole picture rather than focusing on just one pixel in it.
