MEMO TO PRESIDENT

Dear Mr. President, I heard you say you will not guarantee SS checks if the debt ceiling isn't raised.

Why is it the scare always has to do with SS, Medicare, & our Soldiers pay?

Why not stop your pay, your staff, or Congress and the Senate to save more money for our country?

Why use Seniors, Soldiers, & our Needy as examples?

Take the money from those who take no risks and reap the benefits!!

Instead of threatening to withhold Social Security, VA and disability payments of people who really need the money....

Lets hold the paychecks of all house & senate members, then see how fast they resolve the debt ceiling crisis !!!!!

Dear SS recipient. Screw you!

There's an election in 2012 if you didn't notice. My job, and many members of Congress, enjoy rather well paying jobs that we have no intention of giving up. We have taken steps to see that new additions to the voter role are in place to cancel out any of your negative support of our careers.

Have a nice day Señor!

Considering that Social Security and Medicare are two of the main drivers of our nation's fiscal problems, seniors are going to have to come to terms that their welfare is going to need to be cut.

Even if all the members of Congress and the president's staff worked for free it would do essentially nothing to solve our fiscal issues. Our nation's welfare system for old people (Social Security and Medicare) are imposing huge liabilities today and will impose unsustainable ones tomorrow.

How is SS welfare? This is money that has been deducted from your paycheck your whole working life. How about cutting off the welfare to all the lazy losers and illegitimate baby makers!

Those on SS today paid nearly nothing to receive what they get. For those who've been on the govt teet for decades, they did pay nothing. So, they can't complain about anything. As for Nobama, he'd have to exercise some leadership, decision-making, political savvy, and compromise his social agenda, and actually learn what raising the debt ceiling does to our FUTURE spending which is all the democRATS know how to do. Won't happen! He's an idiot!

11:31 -- I'm all for cutting off welfare for "lazy losers and illegitimate baby makers." But Social Security is indeed welfare for old people. The taxes that are deducted from your paychecks don't get saved in some account -- they get paid out to current SS beneficiaries. The average SS beneficiary receives far more in Social Security payments than they paid into the system. It's a wealth transfer from young to old. It's a big reason our nation is having fiscal problems. It needs to be reformed.
