I left comcast years ago. Thank god because they are the worst.

Go with DirecTV, at least with them you get what you pay for! In the 5 years that I've had DirecTV I have only lost signal once for the 5 minutes it took me to wipe off the 2 feet of snow that accumulated on my dish during those crazy snow storms; however, my neighbor had his Comcrap cable out for 2 days during that same snow storm! The only reason why I still have Comcrap/Xpensivity is because they are the only high-speed internet provider in my area. As soon as Verizon or any other reasonable internet provider comes to my neighborhood I will officially be a "X"customer of Comcrap!

Nice try selling Direct TV the signal goes out every storm and it costs an arm and a leg to get anything fixed.

Comcast is a high priced ripoff. My HD sound is often garbled and the picture breaks up. Switching channels is a 5-10 second wait. But the bill comes on time. Every month. I KNOW I'm not the only one with these experiences. How they can get away with charging me and thousands of other consumers for a product they don't provide?? Lower the wait times?? LOL!! They would STILL be the "worst company in the USA". Easily. Followed closely by Verizon.

anonymous 12:16, I have Direct TV and I have to tell you, it is VERY rare it goes out. In the past 7+ years I can only recall it losing signal maybe twice.

I have lost POWER more times than I have losing the Direct TV signal.

The story has to be severe, not like the WBOC Severe Weather broadcasts! You makje it sound like every time it rains we lose the signal. NOT TRUE.

Try it, you'll love it.

This is total BS! Last week, our Comcast service wasn't working at our office. We called and were told we couldn't have anybody out to the business till Saturday. We called on Monday!
Luckily, after much complaining, I was able to get someone out here on Tuesday.
The service guy informed us that since we are a Business Class customer, we're guaranteed FOUR HOUR repair. However, if you're not aware of it and don't demand it, you'll not get it.
More games being played by Comcast!
Unfortunately, Comcast is our ONLY option here at the office for tv and internet! The tv isn't much of a care, but we must have internet!

Hahaha have you ever been to the customer service place on Hobbs Road. What a slow place and those old bats done give a crap either.

Comcast has some serious damage control to do, and I doubt they're really up to it. They stink, plain and simple.

I have to agree with 1:09 pm - I have been out there to pay my bill or ask questions and they are just plain RUDE. They do not like you walking up to their window after the previous customer leaves - they want you to wait in line so they can dilly dally around and then say next and they waste no time telling you that they didn't call you to their window yet. They need to learn a whole lot about customer service of which they have none.

I have a friend that works there and they work him to death.

Joe I'm glad your TV works great mine didn't and the reason I pointed that out is the guy who keeps sending you cable stories is the Ranger guy who goes around selling direct TV which I wasn't satisfied with. However he's using your blog to drum up business he should advertise and pay for it like the rest of us do.

THey would have to slash their prices as well in order to come up just one notch from the worst......

you're told you have to have exfinity yet they charge you for them providing the signal. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! "WE got you covered". .."No need to do anything", comcast about the "conversion".

progress, progress...from just one cable to 3 or 4 and a hot little box called a digital adapter. (you have to periodically unplug it cause it gets so hot. made in china...I believe it could start a fire) just a few short weeks ago, JUST ONE CABLE has been replaced with many, and more remote controls. comcast said they had us all covered... yeah right...very intrusive service and no option if you don't want XFINITY!
Boo, Hiss! They came to our house to hook it up. It wasn't hooked up wrong, they just had to fix the signal we weren't getting. $80.00 charge...one ? Aren't they supposed to provide the signal?
