GEORGE CHEVALLIER RECOVERING AT PRMC

Our very own George Chevallier is currently recovering at PRMC from a scheduled quadruple heart bypass surgery this past Friday. There were some complications after the surgery and George had to be taken in for yet another surgery but he is recovering very well and should be as good as new in no time at all.

George is not only a great Friend, he is a man loaded with local wisdom and shares his "Historical Comments" exclusively here on Salisbury News every Saturday morning. Before going into the Hospital, George made sure that we had plenty of articles in advance so YOU wouldn't miss a beat while he was recovering.
Our kindest thoughts and prayers are with George, who recently experienced a mild stroke and still kept those articles coming. If you've never met this kind and gentle soul, he's our very own historic version of "Travels With Charlie" and you'd do yourself some good to get to know him.

You are the ONLY source of Salisbury history that I have found. Those that were not born here can't afford to lose you.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I have known George and his family since the 60'S as I rented from his Grand Father Mr. Albert Dishroon and lived in a house he built accross the street at 214 Truitt St, Many memories from those days and have many fond memories. God Speed George and wish you well.
