ANNAPOLIS, MD (February 18, 2011) – Governor Martin O’Malley, Lt. Governor Anthony Brown and US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will host the ceremonial opening of the first segment of Maryland’s Intercounty Connector (ICC)/MD 200 on Monday at 11:00 a.m. The ICC is an east-west highway connecting Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in the Washington, D.C., suburbs and the State’s first all-electronic toll road.
More than 500 guests are expected to attend this historic event. Representatives from Montgomery County and Prince George’s County will be attending.
The event location will be accessed via I-370 to eastbound ICC/MD 200 and will take place rain or shine. Risers will be available for photographers and videographers.
