It's embarrassing and totally politically incorrect, but you have to admit you've done it. You're seated on a flight, start looking around, and your gaze stops at the 3-year-olds you come across, wondering whether or not they're potential hijackers. But fear not, concerned travelers. The Transportation Security Administration has got your back, demonstrating it's fully capable of giving pre-schoolers vigorous pat-downs to ensure they're not packing any WMDs underneath their pull-ups.

9:33...while I agree with your sentiments as we're likely on the same page as it relates to governmental intrusion into personal privacy, please refrain from referring to someone on a different side of the argument as "stoopid" and then misspell it. It detracts from your point and sheds a bad light on others who agree with you. I think "stupid" is the word you were looking for.

9:33 and 9:46, point blank, no one is forcing you to fly. It is not a far stretch for someone with malicious intent to hide something on a child, just as a shoplifter will hide stolen items in strollers, baby bags, or directly on the child. But I guess logic is "stoopid" these days.

I'm all for whatever it takes to keep terrorists off our airplanes. It's unfortunate we have to be so cautious, but it's a sign of the times. If you don't like it then don't get on an airplane.
