A short while ago, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were in pursuit of a suspect concerning an outstanding warrant.
A foot pursuit began and the Sheriff's deputies requested the K-9 unit “Hannah”. Hannah and handler Deputy First Class Daum responded to the scene.
The subject’s recovered cell phone provided K-9 Hannah with enough scent to find the trail of the fleeing subject.
The subject was located by K-9 Hannah in just several minutes and was immediately apprehended by the Sheriff’s Deputies.
Great job K-9 Hannah , DFC Daum and all Deputies involved!

Why are they allowed to have cell phones? Is it so they can continue to run drugs and do deals while in jail? What has happed to our system and the rights of honest citizens?
