More Signs Than Voters

I stopped by Delmar Elementary to see how things were going and in an hours time I saw maybe 10 people going in to vote. I sure do hope things pick up later this evening.

Nobody cares anymore. They are struggling to pay their bills and thats all they can see.

What are the rules or laws about signs and handing out literature at the voting places. I think it is 100 feet away.

Give them time and 2:44 I think your wrong...we all care and I think your going to see a huge voter turn out...I have to admit I think all of us are sick and tired of the folks that are in office now that have been and are doing nothing!!!

Quite honestly, I am sick of all the crap before the election. Just yesterday, I had three pre-recorded telephone calls at home at lunch time, and two more during the afternoon. If you don't answer the phone, then the recording leaves a message. It's bordering harrassment.

2:57 the legal distance is 150 feet from the polling place entrance for signs or electioneering.

I think a lot of people don't bother with the primaries and just wait until the general election.

I tend to agree with 2:44. I'll be voting there tonight (its my polling place), but I, too, am fed up and disgusted with every one of these slimy, self-serving, lying, cheating, pretentious, stealing, two-faced, pestiferous politicians. People are waking up to the fact that no matter who they elect, they get the same result. It is impossible for any one candidate, no matter how much they SAY (and they ALL say it) they will fight for the "average" guy, to do anything against the tidal wave of corruption, bribery, self-enrichment, and lies that constitute our present system....pitchforks, torches, ropes and guns...might be the next best option...

People never have voted much in the primary election - just wait until November though.

I am an independent and not allowed to vote. Nationally, about 25% of the electorate are independent as well. While I do not know what it is in Delmar, I would guess a few hundred are. Because of this, I would think the general election is a better gauge of voter turn out.

I vote at the church on E Gordy Rd in Salisbury and my wife and I went yesterday to vote at around 330pm. When we walked up a couple was leaving, a gentleman was following us in, and there was 2 people inside so it was basically dead. It is such a shame that no one votes.
