Date of Occurrence: Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 5:40 p.m.
Defendant: Jonathan E. Thomas, 39, Westbrook, ME
Resume: A sex offender wanted out of Massachusetts was apprehended by State Police this afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:40 p.m. this afternoon as troopers were called to the Toy’s R Us located on Geoffrey Drive in Newark for the complaint of suspicious people. Upon their arrival, the troopers found a male and female sitting in the grass on the side of the business. After obtaining identification from the two subjects, it was learned that the male, identified as Jonathan E. Thomas, was wanted out of Worchester, Massachusetts for failure to register as a sex offender. Troopers arrested Thomas and charged him with being a fugitive from another state. He was arraigned by JP Court #2 and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Facility without bail pending his extradition to Massachusetts.

Probably saved a child apprehending him...sitting at a Toys R Us...Hmmmm. Kudos to whomever placed the call to the police.
Any man hanging around a children's toy store with a mustache like that is obviously a creeper.
