Low Bidder Announced For Town Of Georgetown Streetscape Improvements

Georgetown -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that Daisy Construction Company Inc. is the low bidder for the Town of Georgetown's Market Street Improvement Project. For this project, the Newport-based firm submitted a bid of $434,387.72, the lowest of three bids received.

The streetscape enhancements will include construction of textured sidewalks, curbing, ADA ramps, pedestrian lighting and minor landscaping along East Market Street between King Street and the railroad tracks, within the Town of Georgetown.

Construction will begin this fall and will be completed in approximately 103 calendar days.

Will the work be done by all the illegals that are living there? That could save the town some big money.
