Just stayed at home with my Jack.
Sold my tickets when I heard the snow was comming , capitalist society , ain't it great. I love it , only the strong will survive.
Na, what a waste of money.
Bought 4 tickets for the later show, and went, with my family.
It was an AWESOME show, well worth the admission price.
There were not many folks there in attendance, however. But I ain't afraid of a little snow, and had a great time.
I did and did not go because I don't have 4 whl drive to get in and out of their parking lot and was not risking the life of 4 children to go out on the roads for the 7:30pm show. And no I am not whining like many other people were about losing the $$$.
I would think anyone that bought tickets probably has a vehicle that would get them to the show...
we don't know how many people were prevented from going to the show. so i think everybody in the county should receive a check for the price of admission. that would be the fairest way to end it.
We bought 4 tickets. We tried to go but got stuck 3 times trying to get there. We had to turn around and come back home. We lost $70 and had 2 very upset boys.
I also wanted to add that we bought these tickets 2 weeks before and did not know it was going to snow!

I got tickets for free, and didn't go. Wasn't interested anyway.
My daughter bought tickets for herself and her two boys ($91.00). Needless to say we all know what happened. The TV stations and the State of Maryland issued a travel advisory because of the severe weather. My daughter lives in a remote area of Wicomico County and her vehicle will not and could not travel the roads. My daughter does her best but just like most people in today's financial climate, who could afford just to lose $91.00. I think the WYCC our supposed community asset showed a serious lack of compassion and logic on this one. Needless to say Gary Mackes and Rick Pollitt got their money and thats all that matters.
Bought 4 tickets and went. Was a great show and if the civic center was too small, they wouldnt keep having the show over and over and over again with a great turnout every year.
To the person who's daughter lost $91.00 because she couldn't attend due to the weather. Rick Pollitt should maybe send her a thank you card. Now Rick only needs $299,909.00 to purchase his parking lot.
we need more tough trucks out there PLEASE!!! We go every year, snow was not going to stop us. Are the tickets refundable for the people that could not make it, due to the weather?
they should atleast get some kind of raincheck for next years event or some sort of discount on any upcoming event I think.
$91.00 dollars would have been lost even if you went. Quit pleading harship. Sh!t happens.
I bought tickets for the 7:30 show at the window at 7:00. I drove there in my 2 wheel drive s-10 and didn't have a problem. the difference is, I know how to drive unlike alot of the idions around here who can bearly get around in July.
Anyone that spends money to watch that stuff has already p*ssed it away. Get over it.
Wonder if they sold more tickets that there were seats knowing many would not be able to get there?
