Returning Soldier Tonight At 8:00 PM

Hope you will join "We Care About Wicomico County", American Legion and VFW at the Airport for a welcome home!

On Dec 20 at 8:23 PM a Marine, Ronnie Storms, will be returning to SBY Airport. Word is that he is serving in Afganistan, will be home on leave and will return to duty after Christmas

Please try to arrive about 8:00 p.m. as some of these flights have been arriving early. It requires only a few minutes of your time, but means so much to those returning to our hometown and to their families.

Thanks for the ALERT, Joe.
A few weeks ago I saw a similar post that enabled me to be at the National Guard Armory for the return to their families of some members of our military....IT WAS SUCH A REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE FOR ME, just as a spectator.
If you're available, please participate in this...it's the most worthwhile hour you'll spend this holiday season.

1:38P.M. -- You are sooooo right about this; takes so little time but the delight it gives the one returning and his family is amazing. Let's all get behind this and be there on Saturday evening!

Let's all try to make this--you will not be disappointed and it will surely give you the Christmas spirit to help in welcoming him 'home'!

Took my family & went to the airport. There were about 25 people there. There were actually 2 soldiers on the plane. Not sure about the 2nd one but maybe one of the people from the American Legion can fill us in on him. Wish there would have been more people. It was worth way more then the 30 minutes we took out of our day to welcome home a young man that spends his day defending the USA.
WELCOME HOME!!
