PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — A judge dismissed a professor’s lawsuit against a small, public university in Ohio that rebuked him for not addressing a transgender student using the student’s preferred gender terms.
Nicholas Meriwether’s federal lawsuit alleged that Shawnee State University officials violated his rights by compelling him to speak in a way that contradicts his Christian beliefs.
Schools officials contended that such language was part of his job responsibilities, not speech protected by the First Amendment, and that the case should be dismissed. U.S. District Judge Susan Dlott dismissed it last week, agreeing that the manner in which Meriwether addressed the student wasn’t protected under the First Amendment.

"I Was Knocking On Hell's Door": 21-Year-Old Student Recounts 'Nightmare' Of Contracting Virus In Wuhan
In the race of western media outlets struggling to produce a first-hand account of someone who was infected with the virus in Wuhan, Bloomberg has been declared the winner.
One of the company's reporters published a stunning piece from the perspective of an unnamed 21-year-old Chinese student living in Wuhan. Addressed only as "Tiger Ye" (for fear that being identified would lead to government scrutiny), the young man shared the story of his journey from when he first noticed he had symptoms and tried to seek help at a local hospital, from his frustrations with Wuhan's seriously overburdened health-care system and feeling like he was "knocking on hell's door."
Ye credits his survival with the fact that his father is a health-care worker, and that he was able to get some medication early on before hospitals were totally overwhelmed.

NY Times reporter criticizes President Trump for Daytona 500 appearance. It doesn't end well.
A New York Times reporter criticized President Donald Trump for using his presidential limo, known as "The Beast," during his visit to the Daytona International Speedway on Sunday.
Reporter Maggie Haberman said, "Using the official apparatus of government for what appears to be a political event."
In response, Haberman was rebuked for her characterization of Trump's activities on Sunday.
Indeed, Trump was not in Daytona for a political event; rather, he was on hand as a VIP guest to give the iconic command of "Gentleman, start your engines" and to lead the field of 40 drivers during the pace laps before the race got under way.

China Has ‘Global Chokehold’ on Medicine, Can Shut Down Our Pharmacies, Hospitals in Months
China could effectively shut down America’s healthcare system within months given the one-party state’s “global chokehold” on the manufacturing of medicines and medical supplies, explained Rosemary Gibson, author of China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine.
Gibson, senior adviser at the Hastings Center, offered her remarks on Thursday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with host Rebecca Mansour.
Mansour noted how the coronavirus outbreak in China has exposed America’s dangerous dependence on Chinese production of pharmaceutical and medical supplies, including an estimated 97 percent of all antibiotics and 80 percent of the active pharmaceutical ingredients needed for domestic drug production.
Gibson said, “If China shuts the door on exports of medicines and the ingredients to make them, within a couple of months our pharmacies would be empty. Our healthcare system would cease to function. That’s how dependent we are.”
America has lost much of its manufacturing apparatus for medicines to China via globalization, explained Gibson.

Female athlete forced to compete against biological males finally gets major victory
Connecticut high school athlete Chelsea Mitchell finally got her big win.
Mitchell is one of three girls who filed a lawsuit in federal court last week challenging the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference's policy of letting boys compete in girl's sports. She and other top sprinters have consistently lost events to Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood, two biological males who identify as females.
But that changed on Friday at the Class S state championship when Mitchell beat Miller in a 55m event.

Angel Granddaughter: My Grandmother’s Murder ‘Could Have Been Avoided’ If Not for Sanctuary Law
The granddaughter of 92-year-old Maria Fuertes, who was allegedly brutally raped and murdered on a Queens, New York, sidewalk by an illegal alien, says the “horrific crime” was entirely avoidable if not for New York’s sanctuary state law.
Reeaz Khan, a 21-year-old illegal alien from Guyana, was arrested this month and charged with sexually assaulting and murdering Fuertes by strangling her to death on a sidewalk in Richmond Hill, Queens.
As Breitbart News exclusively reported, Khan first arrived in New York City on a B-2 tourist visa in May 2016 but never departed, overstaying his visa for three years. That violation of federal immigration law makes Khan an illegal alien.
During a press conference with U.S. Border Patrol on Friday, President Trump welcomed Daria Ortiz, a mother of five-year-old and the granddaughter of Fuertes. Ortiz said her grandmother’s alleged murder “could have been avoided” if not for New York’s sanctuary state law that freed Khan weeks before:

Presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg once told an employee struggling to find childcare to go find 'some black who doesn't have to speak English', claims new lawsuit
Billionaire Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg once told a female employee struggling to find childcare to hire 'some black,' according to a 1998 lawsuit.
'It's a f***ing baby! All it does is eat and s**t! It doesn't know the difference between you and anyone else! All you need is some black who doesn't have to speak English to rescue it from a burning building,' Bloomberg said in July 1993 to a female salesperson who'd just had a baby, according to the lawsuit.
The woman responded by crying at her boss's harsh words, according to the lawsuit, which is the subject of a new report by the Washington Post.
The incident is one of many descriptions of sexist and demeaning remarks compiled in a lawsuit filed against Bloomberg and his financial information company in 1998 by Sekiko Sakai Garrison.

National Black News Channel makes debut
Former U.S. Rep. J.C. Watts was beaming like a proud parent as he talked about the launch of Black News Channel — a project he's worked on for years to create what's now the nation's only 24-hour news network aimed at African Americans.
He was sitting at the network's Tallahassee studio with Gary Wordlaw, head of news and programming, watching a countdown clock as the network prepared to go live.
“I was sitting there leaning forward looking at the screen, and Gary goes, ‘OK, in about two minutes we’re going to see if this baby comes out.’ And sure enough it did,” Watts said in an interview at the studio. “We birthed a child on Feb. 10 at 6 a.m. Eastern Standard Time -- a healthy child -- and now we have to nurture it on to adulthood.”
The goal of the network is to reach black audiences with stories that give a broader perspective about their community than what other networks provide. That could include health issues unique to African Americans, discussions about historically black colleges and universities, how federal housing policy proposal could affect them or just simply making people aware of positive accomplishments African-Americans are achieving, Watt said.
“We are more than athletes and entertainers, and on the hard news side, we’re more than crime,” said Watts, who was a star quarterback at the University of Oklahoma in the 1980s and later played in the Canadian Football League.
“For every 17-year-old African American male that you show me that's being carted off in handcuffs on the 10 o'clock news ... I can show you 50 17-year-old African American males that get up every morning trying to figure out, ‘How am I going to make my mother proud of me.’ That's the story doesn't get told enough.”

Pa. Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Violent Attack on Girlfriend in O.C.
SNOW HILL- A Pennsylvania man who pleaded guilty in December to first-degree assault following a violent attack on his girlfriend in downtown Ocean City last August was sentenced late last week to 20 years in prison.
In December, Nacqueese Humphrey, 27, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., pleaded guilty to first-degree assault for his role in the incident last August that resulted in a fractured skull and shattered jaw for the female victim and a pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Last Friday, following a dramatic sentencing hearing, Worcester County Circuit Court Judge Beau Oglesby sentenced Humphrey to 25 years in prison with five years suspended, resulting in 20 years of active incarceration.
The agreed-upon guidelines called for a sentence of six to 12 years, but because of the violent nature of the attack and because Humphrey has a history of violent crime in his native Pennsylvania, the judge sentenced him to the maximum. Humphrey will be required to serve at least half of the 20-year sentence, and Oglesby vowed to keep a close eye on any pending parole reviews. In addition, the judge ordered strict supervised probation following Humphrey’s eventual release because of his violent tendencies.
According to details that emerged during last Friday’s sentencing hearing, Humphrey and the female victim, who were in a relationship, arrived in Ocean City around 9 p.m. last August 24. The victim went to the Boardwalk to get something to eat while Humphrey parked the vehicle and checked into the hotel.

'Deporting three million was a big mistake': Joe Biden admits for the first time that he regrets expulsions under Obama administration
Going further than he ever has in expressing regret over Obama administration immigration policy, presidential candidate Joe Biden called it a 'big mistake' to have deported hundreds of thousands of people without criminal records.
'We took far too long to get it right,' Biden, 77, said in a wide-ranging, sometimes contentious interview with Univision anchor Jorge Ramos on Friday.
The former vice president later added: 'I think it was a big mistake. Took too long to get it right.'
In written statements included as part of Biden´s proposed immigration overhaul, the campaign already had acknowledged 'pain' surrounding deportations that occurred when he served as President Barack Obama´s vice president. But the candidate himself had not so clearly stated his personal regrets.

Government Officials Seize Veteran’s Guns in Mistaken Identification In Red Flag Law Execution
Since the crazed Constitutional rights prohibitionists can’t get the federal government to pass any of their absurd gun control laws, they have turned to a state-by-state effort to methodically do away with the 2nd Amendment.
One of the many laws they are pushing are so-called “red flag” laws where someone can petition the courts to have someone’s guns taken away without any due process by claiming the person is a danger to themselves or others. And the person being served with the court order doesn’t even know it until the cops are at the door. Then the person has to spend their own money and time to fight it, and has to prove their innocence before the court in order to get their rights back.
The crazed prohibitionists try to claim there is due process and that these laws will save lives, while they mock anyone who dares to bring up dystopian scenarios where people are wrongly accused. Except what happens when the wrongly accused are actually served with these orders in real life?

U.S. Leads World in Decreasing CO2 Emissions
When President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the dubious Paris Agreement in June 2017, climate activists, world leaders, and the Democrat Media Complex immediately protested, declaring that the Trump administration was signaling its intention to increase CO2 emissions. Fast-forward to Tuesday’s report from the International Energy Agency (IEA) evaluating CO2 emissions around the globe. Lo and behold, the U.S. led the world in 2019 for “the largest decline in energy-related CO2 emissions.” The IEA’s report further noted that “US emissions are now down almost 1 Gt [gross tonnage] from their peak in the year 2000, the largest absolute decline by any country over that period.” As Sen. Ted Cruz observed, that’s a “fact you will never see on the 6 o'clock news.”
In fact, far from the dire predictions since Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, the U.S. has not only continued its trend of decreasing CO2 emissions but increased the rate of the decrease. The primary cause for this precipitous decline is not due to more government regulation; rather it has everything to do with the government getting out of the way of innovation brought on by capitalistic enterprise. “Coal-fired power plants faced even stronger competition from natural gas-fired generation, with benchmark gas prices an average of 45% lower than 2018 levels,” the report notes. This move to more natural-gas-fired power plants is thanks in large measure to increased fracking lowering the cost of natural gas — “as a result, gas increased its share in electricity generation to a record high of 37%.”

Andrew McCarthy: Why wasn't Andrew McCabe charged?
The Justice Department announced Friday that it is closing its investigation of Andrew McCabe, the FBI’s former deputy director, over his false statements to investigators probing an unauthorized leak that McCabe had orchestrated. McCabe was fired in March 2018, shortly after a blistering Justice Department inspector general (IG) report concluded that he repeatedly and blatantly lied — or, as the Bureau lexicon puts it, “lacked candor” — when questioned, including under oath.
Why not indict McCabe on felony false-statements charges? That is the question being pressed by incensed Trump supporters. After all, the constitutional guarantee of equal justice under the law is supposed to mean that McCabe gets the same quality of justice afforded to the sad sacks pursued with unseemly zeal by McCabe’s FBI and Robert Mueller’s prosecutors.
George Papadopoulos was convicted of making a trivial false statement about the date of a meeting. Roger Stone was convicted of obstruction long after the special counsel knew there was no Trump–Russia conspiracy, even though his meanderings did not impede the investigation in any meaningful way. And in the case of Michael Flynn’s false-statements conviction, as McCabe himself acknowledged to the House Intelligence Committee, even the agents who interviewed him did not believe he intentionally misled them.
I emphasize Flynn’s intent because purported lack of intent is McCabe’s principal defense, too. Even McCabe himself, to say nothing of his lawyers and his apologists in the anti-Trump network of bureaucrats-turned-pundits, cannot deny that he made false statements to FBI agents and the IG.

JUST IN: Virginia assault weapon ban fails after moderate Democrats break with party to reject it
Virginia's effort to ban the sale of assault weapons was rejected by state lawmakers, including four Democrats who joined Republicans in voting down the measure.
Senators voted 10-5 in a committee on Monday to shelf the bill, which aimed to prohibit the sale of certain semiautomatic firearms and the possession of magazines that hold more than 12 rounds for a year so that the state crime commission can study the issue. Four moderate Democrats broke party lines to join Republicans in voting against the legislation.
The rejection comes as a loss to Gov. Ralph Northam, who had championed the bill and has made reducing gun violence in the state a top priority. As part of a broad package of gun control measures, Senate Democrats passed three gun control bills that would restrict monthly gun purchases, expand background checks on firearms, and allow localities to ban guns in designated areas in January.

'Let's just slow down a bit': AOC tells voters to embrace New York's controversial bail reforms
Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Saturday that New Yorkers should give the state's newly-implemented bail reforms “a shot.”
Ocasio-Cortez, 30, told the New York Post, “Give it a shot. We’ve had almost no time since these things have passed. So I would just say, in this environment with political pressure, to maybe just say let’s just slow down a bit.”
New York’s bail reforms, which were implemented this year, prevent judges from imposing bail for people who commit minor crimes or nonviolent offenses. The law has been blamed for allowing offenders to reoffend, including one who allegedly slapped Orthodox Jewish women.

"We know Congress isn't doing its job to redistribute income in any way that's fair to hundreds of millions of Americans, we know that," Brown said during a hearing at the Senate Banking Committee.
"Senator McConnell and the president have refused to raise the minimum wage, it's been stuck for 11 years at under eight dollars," Brown said. "They took away overtime for about 2 or 3 million Americans because of truncating the overtime rule, tax cuts for the rich, and now tax cuts for Medicare."

NYC subway thief thanks Democrats after his 139th arrest, release: 'Bail reform, it’s lit!'
A New York City man who’s now been arrested 139 times thanked Democrats for guaranteeing his immediate release despite repeatedly swiping hundreds of dollars from unsuspecting subway commuters since the state’s new bail reform law went into effect Jan. 1.
Charles Barry, 56, has been arrested six times since the start of this year. He’s been released each time without having to post bail under New York’s new bail reform law since his alleged offenses were nonviolent, the New York Daily News reported. In the past, Barry’s served several stints in state prison and has a lengthy record, including six felonies, 87 misdemeanors and 21 missed court hearings, the newspaper reported, citing court records.
“Bail reform, it’s lit!” Barry yelled to reporters Thursday outside the NYPD Transit District 1 headquarters in the Columbus Circle station before officers transported him to Manhattan Central Booking. “It’s the Democrats! The Democrats know me and the Republicans fear me. You can’t touch me! I can’t be stopped!”

Al Sharpton's failed 2004 presidential campaign still nearly $1M in debt
Rev. Al Sharpton’s former campaign still owes over $900,000 more than 15 years after his failed 2004 presidential run.
"I have asked Andrew Rivera, the finance chair of my 2004 campaign, to set up a meeting with the Federal Election Commission so that I can resolve any campaign debts related to Sharpton 2004,” Sharpton told the New York Post over the weekend. “I am willing to work out a settlement for all claims with my own money to the degree that I’m allowed and will raise money directly."
He added, "Even if I am not legally liable for it, I am certainly morally responsible.”
Sharpton is not personally on the hook for the money 15 years later. Instead, it’s his campaign committee and specifically his campaign treasurer, Andrew Rivera, who are responsible.

Michael Bloomberg Is Paying A Climate Prosecutor $125,000 To Work ‘Pro Bono’ For Maryland’s AG
A climate prosecutor employed by Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh on a “pro bono” basis is taking a $125,000 salary from a group backed by billionaire Michael Bloomberg, according to the nonprofit law firm Government Accountability & Oversight (GAO).
The State Energy and Environmental Impact Center is a New York University (NYU) School of Law program that places professional lawyers with years of experience into the offices of blue state attorneys general. The center is funded by Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City and a climate change activist.
Bloomberg’s NYU charity project completely covers the salary of its fellows and, in return, the attorneys work out of the state AG offices to push climate litigation that Bloomberg is interested in.
Frosh applied Maryland for the center’s fellowship program and set the salary of the “Pro Bono [sic] Special Counsel” prosecutor hired through the State Energy and Environmental Impact Center. Frosh classifying the attorney as pro bono is “problematic” and may put the AG’s office in legal trouble of its own, according to GAO.
Under Maryland law, “‘pro bono,’ of course, means that not only does the client not need to pay, but also the attorney represents the client without compensation,” Maryland’s state court of appeals said in the 2015 ruling in State vs. Westray, pointed out by GAO.

Joe, are you following the disaster at SPD? A corporal already previously demoted for multiple violations was caught in an affair with his subordinate whose husband works there. 2 other officers are under investigation for assault. And the big one they are freaking over is the property department supposedly has a bunch of missing items that could jeopardize criminal cases. This is a complete failure of organizational leadership. Barb can no longer blame one officer at a time. This is Barb, Kolb, Meienschein, Kaiser being inept and comfortable for years while not doing their jobs. Jake is on the hook for allowing it. Watch them spin and blame rather than own and apologize. They are hiding this trainwreck.

I made an appointment Sunday, February 9 at 9 AM with Firestone in Salisbury Maryland for an oil change. I should have realized that something wasn’t quite right when I went to sign my invoice and was told I needed a new starter and tires. I then advised them I just purchased tires with them this past August , then they look at my record and stated , oh yeah I see that. My tires were then confirmed to be OK and when I asked the manager, George why would they tell me I need new tires when I didn’t he said they always recommend them. I was also told I needed a new starter. Attached is the quote for the new starter which is labeled as preventative maintenance and also the receipt from where I had a new starter installed in October 2017 from them.

Alabama Democrat proposes bill mandating all men have vasectomy at age 50 or after third child
MONTGOMERY — State Rep. Rolanda Hollis (D-Birmingham) on Thursday filed a bill that would mandate every Alabama man to undergo a vasectomy within one month of his 50th birthday or the birth of his third biological child, whichever comes first.
Democrats in the Alabama legislature last year brought up the possibility of introducing such a bill during the abortion debate on 2019’s HB 314, known as the Human Life Protection Act.
“Under existing law, there are no restrictions on the reproductive rights of men,” states the introduction to Hollis’ new bill, HB 238.

Worcester County Schools Considering Changing Over From PC's To Mac

A Viewer Writes: What the f#@k is up with the Airport?
Wicomico County submitted their formal letter request to Maryland State Highway for a stoplight at Mt. Hermon/Walston Switch intersection back in August 2019. At that point, there were officials working with the Airport that knew full well Walston Switch Extended would be terminating through traffic at some point in the near future thus significantly improving the safety of the intersection (check out the Airport Master Plan draft showing a cul-de-sac dated April 2019 here: https://flysbyairport.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/16093-SBY-ALP-TAP-4-23-19-reduced.pdf ). Yet they proceeded ahead not sharing that info with MD. The stoplight was approved almost immediately by MD at the end of November - curiously without all the standard traffic volume studies. So that Wicomico County Lobbyist is apparently paying off after all. Oh wait, you didn't know there was such a thing? Neither did the County Council members for the first couple months of his tenure, here's a fun Council clip after finding out in October: https://youtu.be/5WvHcX3p9lM?t=2905
And how about that city/county pre-annexation agreement for the water project to the airport? Oh wait, what agreement? That's right. They haven't come to one. And the project starts 3/1 officially, but you can take a ride down Walston Switch & see they've already started prep and spent a ton of taxpayers money doing so.
Almost 40 million in the budget for this airport over the next 5 years, with cut after cut to the schools (spread your wings & fly high on your own Mardela!). For what? One week it's to bring the worldwide elite in their 757's that would otherwise swing by BWI to layover and refuel. Those guys are going to LOVE this town (hopefully they'll arrive with full security staff should they choose to venture out after dark). Or is it actually for hometown Piedmont (that doesn't book to capacity even when can 3/4 of the year anyway)? What is the REAL driving factor behind all the airport expansion? And is it really good for the people who live here?

Sen. Carter says there is no ‘public utility’ to locking up Pugh
A day after federal prosecutors called for sending former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh to prison for nearly five years, state Sen. Jill Carter, D-Baltimore City, said she does not believe there is any “public utility” to locking up the disgraced politician.
“It’s not that she doesn’t deserve jail time. I guess that I don’t know that I think jail time is gonna serve any purpose — any real benefit to society… She’s been punished quite a bit already,” Carter told MarylandReporter.com in a phone interview on Friday.
Pugh’s attorneys echoed that sentiment, asking for a sentence of one year and one day in a sentencing memorandum filed with the federal court on Friday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Del. Szeliga says action must be taken to help teachers deal with chronically disruptive students
House Minority Whip Kathy Szeliga, R-Baltimore-Harford, on Thursday urged action on legislation to help teachers deal with students who consistently display disruptive behavior in school.
“There are students in classrooms across our state who are regularly disruptive to a point where teachers cannot teach and students cannot learn. This isn’t the run-of-the-mill disruptions. We’re not talking about passing notes and chewing gum. We’re talking about arguing, fighting, cussing at teachers, physically and verbally assaulting teachers and other students. Teachers need the tools in the toolbox to take their classrooms back without fear of administration interference,” Szeliga said at a news conference at the Lowe House Office Building in Annapolis accompanied by about a dozen colleagues.
Szeliga spoke in favor of five Republican-sponsored bills that are aimed at addressing disruption in the classroom. They are: the Right to Teach Act, the Good Teacher Protection Act, the Predator Free Schools Act, the Accountability in Education Act, and the Right to Learn Act.

Yes, Human Trafficking is on the Shore: A Chat with For All Seasons’ Katharine Petzold
It’s typically hard for most Eastern Shore residents to know that human trafficking is alive and growing in their backyard. Beyond the false narrative that this inhumane treatment of adults and children is an urban phenomenon in the United States, the fact remains that these crimes are tough to see even if they are taking place in broad daylight.
Some of these victims are hidden behind locked doors in brothels and factories. But in other cases, they are interacting with community members on a daily basis. In the labor market, it can be found agricultural work, particularly with seasonal fisheries and crab processing as well as construction, nail salons, hospitality industries, and domestic work. With the sex trade, it is showing up locally on online, secret brothels, and “massage parlors” as well as truck stops, private homes, or on the street.
That is one of the many challenges that For All Seasons, the Mid-Shore’s behavioral health center, face as they increase their work to identify and rescue victims in the region. And part of that work is ensuring that members of the health and education professional community understand the signs of human trafficking in a variety of different environments.

Mike Bloomberg 'is considering picking Hillary Clinton as his running mate in the 2020 Democratic race to help take on Trump'
Mike Bloomberg is considering making Hillary Clinton his running mate, a source close to his campaign has told Drudge Report.
Polling found the Bloomberg-Clinton combination would be a formidable force to take on Trump in the race for the White House, the source said.
Former New York City Mayor and Democratic candidate Bloomberg is said to be considering even changing his official residence from New York to Colorado or Florida - where he also has homes - because the electoral college makes it difficult for US president and vice-president to reside in the same state.
Under the Twelfth Amendment to the US Constitution, which provides the procedure for electing the president and vice-president, it states that the two people could not both inhabit the same state as the elector.

“Up and out” a Trooper can be heard shouting as he removes the public from the open meeting room. “Everybody! Everybody in here sitting it doesn’t matter you need to get out now!”
According to those in attendance, Virginia State Police gave spectators 30 seconds to vacate the room or face arrest.
Interestingly enough, just as Chairman Patrick Hope (D-47) signaled for spectators to be removed, the Public Safety Committee’s usual live stream was cut.

KKK photo a hoax, police say
FEDERALSBURG — A photo of a KKK gathering supposedly in Caroline County went viral on Facebook on Monday Feb. 10.
Federalsburg Chief of Police Michael McDermott said the picture was also posted on the Federalsburg Police Department Facebook page with the poster making disparaging comments about the town.
The post circulated first on SnapChat before making its way across Facebook. Police do not believe the photo was taken in Federalsburg or in Caroline County or even anywhere near the area. But, after being screenshot multiple times, a caption had been added across the picture making reference to “burg” or Federalsburg and with the additional caption, “We from the south of the county our #1 enemy them racist...white people.”

Watch – Pete Buttigieg: Flood Small American Towns with Immigration to Grow Population
Former Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana, is touting a new visa program to flood small American towns with legal immigrants to grow the regions’ populations — a boon to corporate investors, housing developers, and big business.
During a campaign stop in Merrimack, New Hampshire, Buttigieg touted his investor-friendly plan to inundate small American towns and rural communities with legal immigration for the sole purpose of driving up population growth.

Buttigieg said:
I’m proposing what we call “Community Renewal Visas” that when a community that is very much in need of growing its population, recognizes that, and makes a choice to welcome more than its share of new Americans that we create a fast-track, if they apply for an allotment of visas, that goes to those who are willing to be in those areas that maybe are hurting for population but have great potential.Buttigieg’s population growth agenda mimics a plan by the Economic Innovation Group, an organization led by investors, that seeks to create a “Heartland Visa” to flood small American towns with more legal immigration to increase the population.

What to Do After You Shoot Someone in Self Defense
It is the end of a long day. You and your wife tucked your children in and are heading to bed. As you turn off the lights you hear a sound you do not recognize. When you go to investigate, you discover a broken window. An intruder is in your home. Fearing for your safety and the safety of your family, you prepare to defend yourself. You know you have your right to defend your family and your home. You grab your firearm and confront the intruder at gunpoint. The intruder draws a weapon and turns to attack. You pull the trigger and hit your mark. The intruder falls to the ground seriously injured and likely dying.
The immediate threat is over, but your emotions are running high and adrenalin is pumping through your body. You and your family are safe, but what do you do next? Do you flee from your residence? Do you start collecting evidence? Do you move the body? Do you call the police?
What you do after shooting someone in self-defense can determine what legal consequences will follow. There are several things you should do and other things you should not do if you find yourself in this situation.

Student, 21, says she was insulted by Joe Biden when he called her a 'lying dog-faced pony soldier' after asking about his poor Iowa results and says it shows how badly his campaign is going
A college student who Joe Biden called a 'lying, dog-faced pony soldier' after she asked about his poor performance in Iowa has shamed him for 'humiliating' her and said his inability to answer her question shows how extremely poorly he's performing.
Madison Moore, a 21-year-old economics student at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, said on Monday for people to wave off the former vice president's remark as a 'joke' is 'kind of insulting'. Biden later explained he was quoting John Wayne.
Biden asked Moore if she had ever voted in a caucus and she nodded her head yes while attending his campaign event in Hampton, New Hampshire on Sunday night, leading Biden to call her a 'lying, dog-faced pony soldier'.
Moore said: 'It was kind of humiliating to be called a liar on national TV by the former vice president. Instead of answering that question straightforward, his immediate response was to attempt to invalidate me by exposing my inexperience.

Rashida Tlaib urges Federal Reserve to bail out bankrupt Detroit and Puerto Rico
Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib told Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell that he “has the authority” to bail out the governments of Detroit and Puerto Rico.
“My city filing for bankruptcy was devastating to so many retirees, sir. Forty, 50 years they worked for the city of Detroit, saw their pensions completely diminished, gone,” Tlaib said to Powell during a House Financial Services Committee hearing.
“Do you not believe that the governments of Detroit and Puerto Rico also play a vital role that should be preserved even if a financial crisis makes it hard for them to borrow money?” she added.

Possible Theft Within The Salisbury Maryland Police Department
In the course of a recent internal audit of its property storage facility, the Salisbury Police Department discovered evidence of a series of potentially egregious breaches of internal policy by a civilian employee. Upon further review of the evidence, SPD command staff determined that there was cause to believe that the civilian employee may have committed one or more thefts while working in the property storage facility.
To better prepare for future re-certification reviews by accrediting agency, CALEA (the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies), the Salisbury Police Department has recently undertaken an audit of its property storage processes and procedures. This internal audit was non-compulsory, and was initiated by the SPD to ensure adherence to best practices for property handling and storage. Upon discovering that internal policies may have been breached by the civilian employee, SPD contacted the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office, and informed them of the evidence that a crime—or crimes—may have been committed in the property storage facility at the Salisbury Police Department. Discussion between the two agencies led to the decision to seek the assistance of the Maryland State Police, who were asked to conduct a criminal investigation. That investigation is currently ongoing.
“The community needs to know that when they give you their trust, you’re going to do the right thing when they’re not looking” said Salisbury Police Chief Barbara Duncan. “As a law enforcement agency, integrity is paramount for us, so this situation is disappointing. It’s frustrating. Right now, our focus is on ensuring the secure operation of our property facility, and assisting the MSP and the State’s Attorney’s Office to determine exactly what happened. Moving forward, SPD is committed to taking every possible step to ensure that the trust of our citizens is well-placed.”
In 1987, to help foster a stronger relationship with the community, SPD first pursued accreditation by CALEA – the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. Widely recognized within the law enforcement profession as the gold standard benchmark for professional excellence, CALEA conducts periodic inspections to ensure that agencies are adhering to the rigorous standards set forth for certification. Since 1987, the Salisbury Police Department has undergone 16 process reviews under CALEA – each involving an inspection of the property storage facility. Not one inspection to date has revealed any evidence of either breaches in protocol, or illegal activity in the property storage facility, or anywhere else within the SPD.
Chief Duncan said, “We’re always looking for areas where we can improve how we work, tighten up our policies. The process by which you identify those areas of potential improvement calls for scrutiny and objectivity. That’s what led us here. No one ever wants to be in the position of questioning the integrity of someone you trust, but when you take that internal look within the organization, one of the reasons you do it is to determine if there’s anyone who’s not living your standards.”
The Maryland State Police investigation into this matter is ongoing, and may continue for a considerable time to come. The Salisbury Police Department will provide updates as they become available, however SPD will not offer any comment on the ongoing MSP investigation.

Maxine Waters: White Dem Candidates ‘Have Blemishes on Their Record About Their Relationships with Black People’
Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said Sunday on MSNBC that the 2020 presidential hopefuls who are white had “blemishes on their record about their relationships with black people.”
When asked about 2020 hopeful Pete Buttigieg, Waters said, “You know, one’s record will speak for itself. If there are facts about what he has done or what he has not done, then he’s going to have to try and make people, you know, believe that he understands where he made mistakes and promises to do better and be able to articulate how he’s going to do even better than he’s done in the past.”
She continued, “But let me just say this; most white candidates live in white communities. They go to white churches. Their children go basically to white schools, etc., etc. So, you know, they all have blemishes on their record about their relationships with black people. And so the way they change oftentimes is if we are able to organize and to protest and to force them to understand what they’re not doing in terms of equality and justice and force them to have to recognize that and do the right thing.”

Maryland ‘Assault Weapon’ Registration Bill Would Charge Gun Owners Up to $1000 Per Firearm
When you think of heavily gun controlled states, names like New York, California and New Jersey immediately come to mind. But don’t sleep on Maryland. The Eat Crab or Die State has long been at the forefront of Second Amendment rights abrogation and a new bill entered in the state’s House would move the Old Line State way up on the #gunsense hit parade.
HB 1261, authored by House Speaker Adrienne Jones along with Reps. Vanessa Atterbeary and Eric Luedke, was introduced Friday and would ban a range of firearms after October 1. It would also require those already owning assaulty-looking guns to register them.
But what makes the bill fairly unique is the escalating cost of registering “assault guns or copycat weapons” that kicks in after the bill’s deadline.

Both chambers of the Virginia General Assembly have passed bills allowing illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses.
HB 1211 and SB 34 both passed their respective chambers as Democrats hurried to meet the Tuesday “crossover” deadline, after which legislation could not be considered by the other chamber.
The Senate version of the bill passed by a margin of 22-18 and the House version by a margin of 57-42.
Democrats took full control of the state legislature in November 2019, and Democrat Ralph Northam currently holds the governorship.

VA State Police Refuse to Rule out Door-to-Door Enforcement of Suppressor Ban
During a Monday morning phone conversation, the Virginia State Police public relations department did not rule out knocking doors to enforce a suppressor ban.
Breitbart News called the Virginia State Police and noted Democrats are passing legislation to ban various firearm accessories. We specifically mentioned the suppressor ban which is currently moving through the state legislature and asked if, “Virginia State Police will go door-to-door to get those.”
The public relations official did not respond with a direct answer “yes” or “no” on going door-to-door. Rather, she said, “[No laws] have gone into effect, no laws have been formalized or finalized.”
She said they do not, “do the speculation because nothing’s been passed into formal law,” but made clear that their job is to “enforce and comply with the laws” once they are on the books.

How Trump can lose in 2020 – here's why and how
Amid voter fraud, ballot harvesting, and media giants railing against Donald Trump, only a sovereign act of God can bring about a re-election. Every trick in the book will be unleashed, from sandbagging to illegal voting. They will do whatever it takes to acquire victory – you can count on that.
The title above may be shocking and disheartening to many of us, but it's a reality check on what could happen. The 2020 election will be one of the most important elections in the history of America (as was Abraham Lincoln's – who was a Republican fighting slavery).
Most are not aware that in 2016 President Trump barely won in many swing states, with margins as low as 1.2% in Florida and a very narrow 0.23% in Michigan. I hope you realize how narrow this is. The 2016 election caught Democrats off guard – but they won't let that happen again. My concern is that the 2020 election will catch Republicans off guard this time. Complacency may lead to apathy when the economy is good and the president's approval rating is high. We can't become comfortable thinking that Trump will easily take it again.
