Grim prediction 100,000 Australians could DIE from coronavirus after seven new cases are diagnosed with a second human-to-human transfer - as supermarkets ration toilet paper amid panic buying

Coronavirus panic is intensifying across Australia with supermarket shelves being stripped bare as further cases are confirmed and an expert issued a terrifying warning nearly 100,000 locals could die if the crisis deepens.

Six more people tested positive to COVID-19 in New South Wales on Tuesday, including Australia's second case of human-to-human transmission. A new case in Victoria on Wednesday brought the number of infected in Australia to 41.

In addition, an Australian university student was rushed to hospital for testing.

Former Reserve Bank of Australia board member Warwick McKibbin said a global pandemic could wipe out 68 million people worldwide, including 96,000 Australians.

That makes absolutely no sense. For 100,000 Austrians to die that means 10 Million would have to be infected. That is 40% of the total population of Austria. If you apply that math to the US... 134,000,000 will get the virus in the US and 1.4 million will die from it.
