Officials wager hometown goods in Ravens playoff game

BALTIMORE —Baltimore Mayor Jack Young and Nashville Mayor John Cooper have struck up a friendly wager surrounding Saturday's AFC divisional-round playoff game.

The Baltimore Ravens play the Tennessee Titans at 8:15 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium. Each city's mayor is offering hometown products that will be claimed by the mayor for the winning team.

In the winner take all stakes, Young anteed up a bushel of mouth-watering Maryland crabs donated by Faidley’s Seafood, two dozen crab cakes by Jimmy’s Famous Seafood and a case of thirst-quenching Duckpin Pale Ale, offered up by Union Craft Brewing Company.

If Jack Young really wanted to represent Baltimore he would send a couple baggies of heroin and a stolen 9mm with the serial number scratched off.

They'll have to wait for those "Maryland Crabs." They are out of season. Mayor Young will have to substitute some Thailand craps instead.
