Iowa officials have decided to release a convicted child molester from incarceration due to the belief that a recent sex change lowered the offender's testosterone level making the felon less likely to re-offend.
Josie Smith, a biological male, was convicted of second-degree sexual abuse against a female victim in 2012 and lascivious acts with a child against a male in 2014. Smith was sentenced to prison in 2015.
It is believed that Smith, whose birth name is Joseph Matthew Smith, molested as many as 15 people ranging from ages 1 to 13, according to a report prepared by state expert Dr. Jeffrey Davis.

High levels of Testosterone have no causal affect upon assault.
They don't even have a high correlation, much less a causal relationship.
The man assaulted a boy and a woman - and ages range from 1 - 13

WOW!!! He had his ding-a-ling cut off and claims he is now harmless. AND AUTHORITIES AGREE. I would suggest that if he wants to be let out of prison, that his arms and legs should be amputated along with his tongue. More importantly---do the same thing to these government authorities (oxymoron) idiots that allowed this. All of them. Then I would consider it.

Actually, testosterone is directly linked to aggression and sex drive.
Forget what they said for a moment. What they are really doing is STOPPING the punishment he received for the previous crimes. Sex crimes.
