More Than 300 Ads by Trump Campaign Taken Down by Google and YouTube

More than 300 of President Donald Trump’s political ads have taken down by Google and its video platform YouTube, mostly over the summer, according to a report by 60 minutes.

The CBS reporters were unable to find specific reasons for the mass takedowns of Trump ads, a common problem with social media companies, which are often reluctant to explain precisely why a ban or other act of censorship has happened. “We found very little transparency in the transparency report,” concluded 60 Minutes.

CBS reporters investigated the removal of pro-Trump ads after YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki highlighted the company’s decision to ban some of the President’s ads during an interview.

Private company doesn't have to obey first amendment, however these companies are using the public internet. (Owned by the public)

SHouldn't you all be more concerned about the fact a campaign is purposely airing false ads???

No it's not. The First Amendment says the federal government can't limit speech. Corporations can put whatever restrictions they want on the own platforms.

So tired of hearing that argument about private company. They own 92 percent of all the search engines engines in the world. Entire world. If the ceos decide not to allow adds because they don’t like the Candidate then that is illegal. handful of people total the ceos. Combined net worth is around 500 billion or more depending if your calculations are per add buy per second. NOT A PRIVATE COMPANY.

Google stated the ads were a violation of policy. However they have NOT STATED the violation yet.

7:05 Don’t even try it!! Lol That’s a lie. Total DNC propaganda. The ads are completely truthful about the quid pro quo Biden Burisma extortion scheme, they feature Joe Biden in his own words bragging about extorting the Ukrainians and admitting Obama was completely on board.
They simply can’t handle the truth and will do anything from allowing it to be told. It’s TOO damaging to the Obama, Biden, Clinton regime and corrupt Democrat liars in general.
