The flag is a "Thin Blue Line," or "Blue Lives Matter," flag that was presented to the police 5th District station in Germantown for National First Responders Day, according to the police department.
The department initially said it will be displayed at the station.
But Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich said today that won't be happening, because the flag is alarming to some.
