GOP lawmakers live-tweet public impeachment hearings, try to discredit diplomats

As a pair of State Department officials testified before the House Intelligence Committee, House Republicans downplayed their relevance to the Democrat impeachment investigation into President Trump.

"Neither of these witnesses have any serious firsthand knowledge of the key events," Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina said Wednesday as the hearing played out on live television across the country. "Taylor didn't even speak to [Trump] during any of this. Kent admitted he had no firsthand info of any order from POTUS."

William Taylor, the Trump administration's top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent, both testified before the Democratic-controlled committee Wednesday morning.

Discredit people that have no first hand knowledge of anything that happened?

W.T.F. Is the world upside down?

These "Diplomats" have zero credibility!

Kent filed a complaint on hunter Biden with the office of VP. They never made contact with him and completely ignored the complaint. Kent never followed up or mentioned it to anyone. Taylor has never met Trump or talked to him or met “ the mayor” other then 2007. Taylor didn’t like “ the Mayor” being in Ukraine even thou the President, AG, CIA and State Department were ok with it AND the President of Ukraine like him. Taylor didn’t appreciate it... All 4 witnesses could NOT GIVE A REASON FOR IMPEACHMENT.

Diplomat Kent flew into Ukraine and told everyone NOT to cooperate with TRUMPS legal team on the origins of the RUSSIAN HOAX.
