WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSET) -- President Donald Trump signed the Autism CARES Act of 2019 into law on Monday, Sept. 30.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSET) -- President Donald Trump signed the Autism CARES Act of 2019 into law on Monday, Sept. 30.

According to Rep. Chris Smith, the bill will authorize $1.8 billion over 5 years in research funding to help children and adults with autism.

The bill will fund research, early detection and treatment for autism spectrum disorder.

I am glad to see this. Despite being attacked daily, he still gets things done. I seen to remember during his campaign that a faction of the democrat party started some dust up over how he would harm special needs kids, and a whole bandwagon pile on occurred Then he does this, keeping a promise. Cool.
