That unusual sound everyone heard while the bridge was broken was Rickies butt cheeks puckering! Keep kicking that can down the road Rickie....although it may not bite u by the time u r out of City Hall, ur name will forever be ASSociated with it!
Hope it IS fixed. Lotta boats coming in late today for the WMO
I'm curious - how long was it stuck? I was second in line coming into town and bailed after 4 minutes....
I got word that bridge detour will last from 1PM today until 12:30AM tomorrow. Must be stuck again.
Getting as bad as the Upper Ferry.
I travel to O.C. for work...in a year round position...
The draw bridge is a nuisance...
the boat traffic causes the bridge operators to open and close the section quite often
these delays back traffic past the Berlin Walmart on busy days as Saturdays
Than you have Baltimore and Philadelphia traffic lights not synchronized....when one turns Green, the other one turns red....causing more delays...
During the summer....boats need specific times....as every 4 hours or more to pass under this bridge...to include fixing the two redlights noted above...

NEED TO WELD THE DAMN THING SHUT FOR GOOD !!!
Not needed / outdated > make the damn boats park on
the Ocean side > No need for them to go to other side
of bridge these days !!!!
Not fair to the car traffic & it causes much Danger &
Backups / Lockups when it is OPEN , even the Buses
can't go anywhere & have to be Diverted Under the
bridge on the tight street side !!!!! Outragious
