Enforcement Efforts – May 2019

The mission of the Maryland State Police is to serve the people of Maryland and those who visit our State through purposed policing that protects our citizens, prevents criminal acts and traffic crashes, and provides the highest quality of law enforcement services available anywhere. This is accomplished through a network of local barracks and specialized units working in consultation and cooperation with allied public safety agencies to address issues impacting public safety in Maryland and each jurisdiction through an inter-jurisdictional strategy.

The Maryland State Police – Salisbury Barrack strives each day to fulfill our mission all the while remaining focused on our core values of integrity, fairness and service. In doing so, Troopers were able to accomplish the following during the month of May 2019:

• Handled 53 motor vehicle collisions including two fatalities
• Conducted 1904 traffic stops while issuing 1315 citations, 1301 warnings and 91 safety equipment repair orders
• Arrested 38 drivers for operating vehicles under the influence (DUI)
• Investigated 67 criminal complaints
• Located 3 missing persons
• Arrested 13 adults for violations of various state laws
• 24 adults were arrested for possessing a Controlled Dangerous substance
• 20 persons were investigated, identified, located and arrested for outstanding warrants
• Dispatched to 662 various other calls for service including 12 community service events

Troopers of the MSP Salisbury Barrack have set the bar in trying to be truthful and transparent in an effort to advance a culture of honesty, clarity and trust. We will be helpful and supportive and have a positive attitude and passion for what we do. We will be proactive, take initiative, and try to anticipate citizens’ needs. We will always aim for 100% accuracy, and be consistent in how we interpret and implement state policies and procedures.

Again, how can you honestly say that you “set the bar in TRYING to be truthful”? You either ARE or you AREN’T truthful. MSP should be truthful AT ALL TIMES. Ridiculous!!

actually if one does the math, take out the driving infractions and the rest of the case load comes to 789 cases. for driving infractions the MSP handled 1995 cases. whether it's a ticket or a drunk still takes resources. Nice to see where maryland's state police concentrate their resources. looks like a money making racket at the point of a gun to me! and the facts bear this out, wonder what the $ amount per stop generated?
Please remember the kops ain't here to protect you. They are here to protect the state from you! they'll make a report if they show up end of story......you are on your own!

Davala has a lot of MIRRORS in his home, car, office and pretty much where ever he is.
