Governor puts pressure on city schools over allegations of grade-fixing

BALTIMORE —Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is putting pressure on Baltimore City Public Schools following allegations of students' grades being fixed.

District officials have admitted to the discovery of at least five cases of improper grade changes.

This has been an ongoing concern over a number of years. The governor said Thursday that the public deserves answers.

"I don't know what the facts are, but I know we have to be open and transparent, and I'm going to push (district CEO) Dr. (Sonja) Santelesis and the chairman of the school board to release all of this information so that we can get to the bottom of it," Hogan told 11 News after appearing on the "C-4 Show" on WBAL NewsRadio 1090 AM.

Hogan can't go against Democrats. He will find away to explain this wrong doings so it can give millions more to a failing City to appease the Democrats.

Northwest Woodsman: I have thought for years that since the Marxist democrats have literally taken over the education system in the country, they have made a concerted effort to dumb down the masses in order to make them more susceptible to political indoctrination and manipulation. They have exceeded their wildest dreams.

ALL public schools should be investigated and held accountable for the results. This should have been done a LONG time ago...

Stop the indoctrination and start teaching. Democrats knows nothing about that though.

Man, this has been going on for some time now. Ever wonder how some kids graduate when they are as dumb as a clam? You know it is considered racist if you fail a black kid because they do not think they have to actually work for their diploma. I have heard of teachers giving kids passing grades just because they are black. Oh, the teacher is black also. You know, you got to help a sister or brother out.
