In response to a snake bite complaint May 11, Ocean View police captured the snake. It was subsequently identified as a copperhead, according to OVPD’s Facebook posting.
The snake was removed by Ocean View police and safely released into a nature preserve.

The only good snake is a DEAD snake.
It should have been destroyed.
The good news is that the snake survived.
And why is that?
Look at it close you clearly don’t own or mess with reptiles it’s missing a chunk out of it and in a defensive position it’s been killed just slowly....

It would be missing more than a chunk if it came in my yard.
Dogs are usually destroyed if they bite someone, and a dog isn't venomous lol.
Death to poisonous snakes, they will just wind up biting someone else or a pet.
