Congressional Democrats reacted to Alabama’s new ban on abortion by arguing that the bill will effectively kill people.
Republican Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey on Wednesday signed into law the bill, which bans abortion in all cases except where necessary to protect the life or health of the mother.
Roughly 6,700 abortions were performed in 2017, the most recent year available, according to the Alabama Center for Health Statistics.
Democrats claimed the abortion ban is sentencing women to death.

Really??? DUH
What a lot of people do not understand is, women do have the right to control their bodies. It is called a pill, available at PLANNED PARENTHOOD. If all else fails, try tying your tubes so you won't have anything fertile. Instead of killing a baby,not a fetus, you have the power you want.
Really, Who's killing who? Any drugstore for less than $5 will have everything you need to prevent pregnancy, therefore you won't get pregnant so you won't have to worry about killing your baby.
It's really that simple.
Birth control should be limited to conception control.
Isn't it ironic , that everyone supporting abortion has already been born !
You should go to Maryland Comptroller Peter Fanchot’s FB page and read his post about calling for Marylanders to boycott Alabama over there Abortion decision. He is arguing with his constituents and calling them right-wing religious fanatics. He is also threatening to discontinue state retirement funding/pensions handled in that state.
