Last week Senator Mitt Romney joined other anti-Trump Republican Senators to vote against President Trump’s emergency order on the US southern border.
Today Senator Mitt Romney attacked Republican President Donald Trump for his attacks on John McCain who lied to Americans and voted against Obamacare reform after promising to replace it.
This was after President Trump was asked today about John McCain’s last ditch attacks on the American public.
President Trump pointed out McCain’s lies on Obamacare.
Trump called it “disgraceful.”

Willard M Romney can't accurately be regarded as a Republican, but neither can he be called a Democrat, yet.
He's an opportunistic squish perched somewhere in the middle between liberal Republican and moderate Democrat. There are more liberal Republicans of course than the nearly extinct moderate Democrats.
As a presidential candidate he started off strong with a good storyline, absent his Romneycare roots. But he folded like a bad lawn chair in mid-campaign and we got four more years of Zero.
President Trump answered accurately a question about John McCain, who schemed to undercut the newly elected president before he was even sworn in. There is no shortage of inflated egos in DC but McCain's was among the most puffed up. His active military service was the only notable aspect of his self-centered life.
Romney could be reading AOC's cue cards but he doesn't have her callow youth excuse to hide behind. He'd do well to shut his pie hole and work to benefit his state rather than criticizing the executive. Pretty good bet he didn't tolerate friendly fire when he was a big boss.

Thank God, McCain's dead. We would have all been better off if God had taken him sooner. He could have been a true hero, and not a made up one, if he died in Vietnam.
