Researchers found the most politically intolerant Americans 'tend to be whiter, more highly educated, older, more urban and more partisan themselves.'
WASHINGTON, D.C., USA — A new poll from The Atlantic and PredictWise – a polling and analytics firm – ranked counties in the United States based on partisan prejudice. They said they found the most politically intolerant Americans “tend to be whiter, more highly educated, older, more urban and more partisan themselves.”
The Atlantic reports their findings matched with that of University of Pennsylvania professor Diana Mutz, who found highly educated people are “relatively isolated from political diversity.” It is the phenomenon of the so-called echo chambers people find themselves in, avoiding or not encountering other people who disagree with them.

It also has the highest concentration of stupid people in the nation!
I most wholeheartedly agree.
I have many friends and relatives who live in that area and I always feel like they look down on me, as if I'm dumb and deplorable for supporting our current POTUS, even though my IQ is probably 30 points higher than theirs.
It proves that, through systematic MSM propaganda methods, even bright people can be swayed. It's highly unfortunate for the good of our country.
I mean, just look at the number of people who are now supporting socialism, for God's sake!
They just don't like ignorant hillbillies.
I spent 5 years commuting to and from NOVA for work. Given the liberal nature of the area, NOBODY expresses a conservative viewpoint unless you are looking to get forced out. I retired from that rat race a few years ago and feel quite sorry for anyone else that has to go through that. The sick thing was, that liberalism was so entrenched that one could literally be a conservative and say the sky was blue and then be branded all sorts of ugly things until run out of town.
