Bernie Sanders Can’t Name Any Laws He’s Passed That Helped Black People

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) kicked off his presidential campaign last week but on Monday was unable to name any legislation he’s passed to help black Americans.

On "The Breakfast Club" radio show, co-host Charlemagne tha God asked Sanders what he had accomplished for black Americans, and Sanders answered by touting his activism as a student with the Congress of Racial Equality and his presence at the March on Washington. He also pointed out he supported Rev. Jesse Jackson for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988.

"I was one of the few white public officials who supported Jesse Jackson for president of the United States, and he ended up winning Vermont," Sanders said. "I think if you look at my record in terms of civil rights and other areas, you’ll find that it is consistently a very, very strong record."

"Any legislation you can point to?" asked Charlemagne tha God.

"Uh, well.."

He has only been in congress for a few decades. Things take time. He marched a lot for civil rights and lives in the projects.

He's a toad looks like not good with specific questions, he's on the fence like Clinton answers based on whom they are speaking to and generalities. All they did primary to the voting was back each other since they slander each other for the reason they didn't win.

There isn't a democrat alive who can name one bill passed by them that help blacks. All democrats do is keep blacks chained up relying on the pittance the government gives them. Lowly slave to the democrat plantation. Democrats don't think of blacks as humans only votes. Nothing makes democrats more angry then when one breaks the chains and becomes independent.

He might even have difficulty naming a black person who's not a politician.

Honest question, wasn't Trump investigated by the DOJ for racism in his apartments?

Didn't Bernie graduate high school with Ruth Ginsburg? Aren't they both like 96 or 98?

Its really disgraceful that you people are always looking at who has helped Black and or any other ethnically groups. I ask the the Question is it that we are still fighting for the same things (civil rights)ever since we been here ? Its because we live in the most RACIST Nation on the the planet. If you all meant well we wouldn't be talking about this same issue for over four hundred years . You had bad intentions for Black people when we came here and that has not changed. No matter what party you belong to you are all the same. All the so called advancements that Black people have made , now you are fighting to take them back. Thats why
Archie Bunker is in the White House He brings out what's in you , you are a race of Devils.
