Governor Larry Hogan has appointed Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio as the Secretary of Natural Resources. Haddaway-Riccio currently serves as a Deputy Chief of Staff in the governor’s office, where she advises on environmental-related issues.

“Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio has been a strong member of my executive team since day one and has a proven track record of working to protect Maryland’s environment,” said Governor Hogan. “I know that Jeannie will be instrumental in ensuring that we continue to build on our incredible progress in preserving our state’s precious natural resources.”

If she is really that good then she should build a lot large oyster bars and make them off limits to commercial and recreational oystering forever.

Shut up, 7:30. GHR has gotten herself where she is by serving honorably and admirably. But enjoy your sour grapes, loser.

She's smart, personable, and knows the ropes.

WOW. Some people are just delusional. If you own a business in Maryland. You are politically connected. If your a doctor, lawyer, or Indian chief. Your politically connected. You all run in the same connected circles. You get jobs or appointments that a common person won't have a chance. So I say to those who described this woman in a positive light. Good for you. But it's ALL BS. In Maryland. If you don't know anyone. You don't get anything.

Another example of who you know, not what you know.

I must assume district 37b is a special more deserving district than the others, is it not 7:50

Agree, just look at where all the cell towers are located. These well off citizens are being paid $900 to $1500 per month for land rental
