I had a little birdie tell me that Wicomico Humane Society has finished their financial audit into whether or not Aaron Balsamo was misusing funds. I have looked into this and found nothing about them charging him or that they have reported their findings. I would like to see if it's possible for you to bring this to light. I would much rather you do a story on this and get the facts then The Daily Times tell the story and lie about it. The County has been covering things up for a long time. If the audit is completed, then why are they taking their time to release the information? Unless the findings that they received are not what they wanted and now are waiting for people to forget so they can sweep it under the rug. Thank you for your time.

Here's your answer oversight by the County....they don't know what to do good or bad findings!
There is a whole network of people that foster and find homes for pets with no funding or rewards.
The country has nothing to do with the Wic Co humane society's financials. It is a non profit that the country contracts out to handle animal cases. Frankly Balsamo's only mistake was taking the position. That Board is sketchy as hell (always has been since it's founding) so if anything is amiss that is the first place to look IMO.
The County does not oversee the Humane Society. That would be the Board. You need to get them to come forward with the information but since they act like a secret society don’t expect anything to come from the investigation.

Earth to Dumbass!! Wicomico County has absolutely no say over the "Wicomico" Humane society. They are a nonprofit ran by a board of directors.
Next time you think there is a conspiracy you should go to the next County Council meeting and voice your concerns during Public Comments. Idiot!

Looks like there is finally a trial set but there has been documents filed to get the case thrown out. What in the holy hell?!
