Former Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. gave a scathing speech Saturday at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Washington, calling President Trump an “occupant” of the White House whose administration is guilty of “rampant corruption,” “stunning incompetence” and “shameful intolerance.”
Mr. Holder, a Democrat who served under former President Barack Obama, said the Republican Party is “shamefully complicit” for not holding the Trump administration accountable for its purported misdeeds, joking that “perhaps they are just too busy figuring out how to make America great again,” referring to Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan.
“Every time I hear that phrase I wonder when exactly do they have in mind?” Mr. Holder said. “What time do they want to wind the clock back to? What century? What decade? What year? Certainly it was not when people were enslaved. Certainly, it was not when segregation was the law of the land. Certainly, it was not when women were disenfranchised. Certainly, it was not when the LGBT community was routinely stigmatized.
“This sort of thinking, this ‘Make America Great’ mindset is not only flawed, it’s rooted in fear,” he said. “And it favors an imagined past over a realistic future.”

Why was Holder in contempt of court? Because he sold or gave weapons to drug cartel and it backfired when a US border patrol was killed. Apparently with a gun Holder gave away to the enemy. How dare he speak about our President that way. My mother always said: sweep your own back porch before you critize someone else's. Holder is scary. MAGA
Holder is a criminal and should've gone to prison, Now he's terrified Trump will expose more crimes.
Democrats were responsible for slavery, segregation, blocking the Women's right to vote for 30 years, and a Democrat President signed DADT and DOMA into law in the 90's.
Holder's nuttier than a fruitcake. He should know, he worked for one.
Holder was part of the most corrupt White House ever. Democrats are a case study in mental illness. Projection and such. Their natural defense is to aggressively attack and accuse their opponents with exactly what they are guilty of.
Holder is just another in a long line of lying cheating thieving dumbocrats.
Why Mr. Holder, to Make America Great Again, President Trump will try to repair the mess made by obama and his lackeys.
Holder should be in Gitmo along with the Obamas and Clintons and Bidens and Kerry's and the rest of that gang.
Just back to before Holder and Obama got ahold of things. That may be far enough.
The slogan IS rooted in fear. Fear that America had fallen into the wrong hands and something needed to be done. Prayers answered!
