He never stated he did not trust our military. He stated he did not trust the witch hunt investigation that has been on going. I believe him. Calling for a multi-service mutiny against the Commander in Chief is serious business. Walking the statement back doesn't reduce its impact.
IMAGINE how CNN would have reacted if Trey Gowdy had called upon the U.S. military to handle obama in some way or fashion (what should the MILITARY do, in his opinion??)

Trump salutes the military, stops and talks to them, is proud of them, and loves this country.
Obama refused to salute them most of the time, he loathed them, he hated this country, he weakened the military every chance he could, he went on a world apology tour to undercut everything our military had accomplished in the last 100 years. He and his party said only stupid people joined the military.
