2 men accused of shooting up wrong Maryland house mistaking it for their enemy's home

GERMANTOWN, Md. (WJLA) — Two men allegedly shot into the wrong home in Germantown, Maryland. Police say the shooting was the result of a beef the pair had with someone who lives in a house a few doors away.

Seven bullets were fired into a boy's bedroom, and his parents' master bedroom. Toys, furniture, and a mattress were damaged in the June shooting.

The home involved in the shooting belongs to a married couple and their two sons ages 10 and 13. According to investigators, the family was already out of bed when the incident took place. No one was injured.

Authorities captured the men at a local Sunoco gas station. Three guns were recovered, including the 9MM used in the shooting.
