'Democrats are good at only three things, High Taxes, High Crime and Obstruction!' Trump doubles down on blaming Dems for forced separation of immigrant families on the border

President Donald Trump has doubled down on his insistence that Democrats are to blame for the separation of families at the border, saying his administration is merely following the rules established by the Obama administration.

'Democrats can fix their forced family breakup at the Border by working with Republicans on new legislation, for a change! This is why we need more Republicans elected in November,' Trump tweeted on Saturday.

'Democrats are good at only three things, High Taxes, High Crime and Obstruction. Sad!' he continued.

From April 19 to May 31, 1,995 children were separated from 1,940 adults who tried to enter the US illegally between official border crossings, according to Homeland Security statistics.
