So sad to hear this. His contributions were monumental, as was his courage his whole life. What incredible challenges he overcame in his life. A beacon for us all.
I would tell Charles not to believe the doctors that told him that. That answer to "How long do I have Doc? is wrong most of the time. I wonder what they told him when he broke his neck when he was 19? I'm sure they never thought he would live as long as he has. I didn't always agree, but I liked his political commentary. Smart man. Even with his disability, he lived a rewarding and meaningful life.
Why is it people like you don't like it when people like me are right? I notice you are also no more than just some "anonymous internet guy." Was that supposed to be some kind of put down? If so, look in your mirror when you say it. I stand by my comment. Empirical evidence of many cases support my conclusion. When someone is going to succumb to cancer is a wild-ass guess for most doctors, and the best ones will tell you that.

Had the chance to meet him at a Nationals game a few years back. Always a fellow worth listening to.
Charles always had words of reason for us all. His commentary was something I always looked forward to.
A true Zionist of the tallest order.
He will defend Israel's right to kill Palestinians until his last breath.
