What happened to Capital SUP and their stand up paddle boards that went belly up before you even got them off the ground. A failure just like you and this one.

Funny thing is they did the same thing a year ago just in time for Memorial Day and it was a flop! Keep doing the wrong things over and over again. The Jake Day Way!

I will swim in that river the moment that Jake Day and Jim Ireton drinks a glass of that water.

Not in a million years would i ever let that water touch my skin. Took my boat out in it a few times and it left such a scum line on it that i could hardly remove "yuck". Enter at your owne heath risk.

Oh look at all of Jake Day's friends and fans. Wait! They are only a few city employees.

Barbara Duncan is there sucking up to Jake Day again this year. The things department heads have to do to keep their jobs.

Is that Nicole Lauren Cap in the pink dress interviewing Jake?

Not putting my kayak in Perdue's runoff!

Hey chef Duncan why are YOU there ? Looking for poops I mean perps in da poopery ?

Anonymous said...

NOBODY IS THERE LOL.

up shit creek without a paddle

Anonymous said...

"WOW" That's a bigger crowd than I expected.

Anonymous said...

Same thing happened to my boat last summer. Had to scrub it with comet and a brush to remove the scum. No more putting over in Salisbury.

Maybe they’re fishing all the trash out before the actual public get there.

Is this structure legal?? It looks like it is an obstruction to navigation...

Why don't Barb's go catch criminals ? What a Joke she is
PS how that brown nose barbs.

Notice the bottom right corner of the picture and the big bloobs of ??? floating by

Don't forget we have that expensive fire boat that is never used and just remains tied up and never used, baby Jake, Hug a thug Duncan, and dumb Hogan all need to be taken on a little ride down river and all three used as bait, best thing that could happen for Maryland and the "bury".

Anonymous said...

You don't see the mayor, council, or city employees using "shit creek" for entertainment!

Anonymous said...

Check out jakey's speech for a laugh, "Before we jump in here...or slid in, cuz I'm not jumping in."

Real smooth, kid.

Anonymous said...

Notice the upper left side of the photo. The fireboat is not even in the water, it's up on a lift. That boat has corrosion and electrolysis problems so bad that it can't be left in the water for more than 24 hours at a time.

Anonymous said...

Those are clouds in a blue sky reflected in the water.

Anonymous said...

Cool! Just don't paddle up past the Fitzwater Street bridge.

Anonymous said...

Why not put in a wave machine up river and have tubing too ? Are they really yellow bricking the river walk and planting Poppies ?

Anonymous said...

As dirty as that river is you don't need a paddle boat or kayak. You can just take a walk on it.

Anonymous said...

Look in the background, what do you see? A boat launch!! Explain to me why this waste of taxpayer dollars got spent when there is a perfectly acceptable kayak launch 50 meters across the river.
HEY JAKE, STOP THE DISCRETIONARY OVERFLOW SPENDING AND RETURN THE MONEY TO TAXPAYERS YOU DIMWIT!!! Better yet clean up city park.

Anonymous said...

What's that in the back round ? That Donny what's his names cheap slapped up leaking townhouses that no one bought and he's renting ?

Anonymous said...

Better wear a hazmat suit if you go into this river. Don't even think about going in, if you have any open sores.

Based on the pollution from the waste water treatment plant and Perdue combined, I would think twice before entering this river.

She has to be there or there would be no one there for the press conference. Jim Ireton and Jake Day makes all the department heads show up to the press conferences to pretend the mares have a good following which anyone with a brain knows better.

In real cities, the only time you see a real police chief or a real fire chief shows up for a press conference is if there is a catastrophe like a mass shooting. Real chiefs will tell the mare to F off!

Because that is the County boat ramp and Jake Day promised the failed group, Capital SUP, from last year they could have their own special launch. Taxpayers paid for it and guess what. No Stand Up Paddleboard(SUP) business showed up. Jake Day screw the taxpayers again!

Anonymous said...

Don't worry, this will be a dismal failure just like last year. No one, absolutely no one wants to put a paddleboard, canoe or kayak in that nasty cesspool. If they wanted to launch they could use the boat ramp across the river for that. It will be just like last year. Another failed business venture.

Who the HELL wants to drive in the Ghetto and get out of their car? Who would leave their car on that side of town? Does Jake Day realize he is trying to make the citizens of Salisbury go to the bad side of town? That is Fitzwater Skreet!

I hear Corn Waller riding the far truck at Salisbury Far Cumpknee #2.

"Engine 2 responding with Corn Waller." "Engine 2 is arriving and Corn has Mill Pond Command."

It's sad that Jake Day and Rick Hoppes ran off the majority of the volunteers in Salisbury and all they can get to ride the fire engines in Salisbury is Tony "Corn" Waller. That is desperation.

Is this where the new SU crew team is going to launch their sculls and have their team boathouse?

Twenty-seven comments on this picture and it's been posted for 12 hours and no one has pointed out the obvious about this picture.

What do you see in the upper left-hand corner?

Guess what I see?? The S.S. Richard A. Hoppes up on the lift. It's been over a year that the S.S. Hoppes Far Bote has been out of service. Do you remember it was up on blocks at a marina in Crisfield months ago? It's still out of service.

Damn! Another FAILURE of Jake Day/Jim Ireton/Rick Hoppes.

That's a store in itself, Mr. Albero!

SALISBURY (AP) Salisburys mayor is looking to federal stimulus funding to help the town clean up the Wicomico river.

Mayor Jim Ireton says he plans to ask for money next year to purchase a skimmer. Currently, Salisbury workers use a boat and nets to pick up trash in the river once a week.

A skimmer is faster and picks up more trash without stopping. Salisbury is also putting grates on pipes to reduce waste in the river.

Corn Waller! Bahahahahahahaha!! I remember when Bryan and Stevie Records gave him that name. They didn't have the balls to call him Corn in his face, but they made sure to let everyone else know what they are saying about him.

I saw on the 47ABC story that Julia Glanz was paddling around in someones kayak without a life vest on. She must think she is above the law because they are required by state law.

Too bad the fat slob didn't fall overboard.

I see the fireboat out of service and up on the lift. Been at the Salisbury Fire Department and "in service over 6 years and still hasn't gone on its first emergency YET! Yep, they really needed to replace that fireboat, didn't they? NOT!!

What a waste of hard-earned tax dollars. Jake Day, Jim Ireton, Rick Hoppes and others are really ignorant and shouldn't be in the positions they are in.

Speaking of the Fire Boat, I just found this gem and it speaks volumes. It was placed in service at the Salisbury Fire Department on April 30, 2012 and hasn't been on any real emergency yet and now it's dry docked and out of Service. I hope you idiots that voted for Jake Day and Jim Ireton are ashamed of yourselves now. By the time they get it working and back in service, they are going to say it's old and we need a new fire boat. They are replacing fire engines every 10 years now even though the trend is every 20 years for small departments like Salisbury. If they replace a fire engine in 10 years you better expect them to replace that fireboat in 4 more years. I bet they are working on the plans now. Just like Obama, Jim Ireton and Jake Day duped the citizens of Salisbury.

New Salisbury Fire Boat Debuts
Posted: Apr 30, 2012 7:15 PM EDT

SALISBURY, Md.- When your phone gets old, you replace it. When your shoes wear, you buy a new pair. For the Salisbury Fire Department, it wasn't that easy. For years, the department worked to replace its aging fire boat. Monday, it finally arrived.

The Homeland Security Grant was awarded back in 2009, covering the total cost of the boat. It was built by MetalCraft Marine in New York and now, the 36-foot fire rescue rapid response vessel is in Salisbury, gearing up for service.

It took some watching and waiting but just after 2:30 Monday afternoon, the wait was finally over.

The Firestorm 36, a rapid response vessel with chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense options, took its first ride down the Wicomico River and made its big debut at the Port of Salisbury.

"I think it's awesome," said Jane Youngk, who docks at the port. "I think the city really needs something. I think the river is very important to the city and the community and I think it's great."

The fire department thinks so, too.

"This boat is a thousand percent better than our old model," explained Salisbury firefighter Brad Berg. "Our old model was actually an old, refurbished fishing boat. It didn't do the job at all that we needed it to do. It was extremely difficult to use for rescues, for dives or any of that kind of stuff."

But it will be a lot easier now, with state of the art technology; something project manager Eric Connell can vouch for.

"Traditionally, firefighting on the water was done by tugboats and they traveled slowly and supply a whole lot of water. Our approach is that we travel really fast and supply a lot of water as well," Connell explained. "You know, if you get there in time you can put a fire out with a bucket of water if you're there in time so we want to be fast and be there and be effective."

The new fire boat will not go into service for another week or two, as Salisbury firefighters need to finish up their training.

That's Democrats for you! If it did not work the first time it is because you did not spend enough tax dollars on it, sooo, throw more money at it!!

No my friends, it was built in Canada, not New York like they are telling you. A "Homeland Security Grant" being spent out of country is a no no, so they came up with a mailing address in New York since they were getting rich off the Homeland Security Grants.
