NY Times Reporter: 'I Cried' After Writing Story About How Clinton Lost the Election

New York Times reporter Amy Chozick writes in her new memoir that she cried after finishing her article on how Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump.

Chozick covered Clinton for a decade during stints at the Wall Street Journal and now at the New York Times, which meant covering her ultimately doomed presidential bids in 2008 and 2016. Her experiences and insights make up her new book Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling.

According to the Washington Post review of her book, "the day after the 2016 election, Chozick sat in her cubicle and wrote the "how she lost" story. "Then I finally cried," she writes.

That article was entitled, "Hillary Clinton's Expectations, and Her Ultimate Campaign Missteps." Chozick wrote in the postmortem:

I cried for joy that the HildaBeast did NOT get elected!

I am not completely thrilled about all that has been happening lately - but it is certainly better than feeling the Bern - or another Clinton in the White House!

Tears of Joy!

I feel sorry for the woman, not because Hillary was the perennial loser (saints be praised!), but because she had to be in close quarters to Her Beastliness for years at a time.
I suspect that those were tears of both relief and loss.

A friend that was there that night and said staff was talking about Hillary: screaming, crying, throwing stuff, actually having a complete fit and going bezerk after seeing she was losing. Doctor was later called in to put her to sleep.

Too bad it wasn't a Dr. Kevorkian

12:34 I heard the same thing from people that were staying close by. Screams and smashing of stuff on the floor above where they were staying. Said is was a mental breakdown of epic proportions.

I cried tears of joy and celebrated her loss!
I rejoiced at the lamentation of the liberal reporters on CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, AND ABC! Also found it funny to see the poor snowflakes crying at her loss!

Election night was a real eyeopener for me to see just how divided this country is, and just how corrupt our government and news media are with their fake poll numbers and negative comments about working class white males.

They still refuse to admit defeat and the onslaught of vitriol against this president and his supporters is nonstop.

We are in a civil war, whether you realize it or not.

Both Hillary and the reporter are delusional.

I cried crocodile tears over the electricity used to create this post. This self-absorbed writer needs to find her flannel jammies and hot chocolate before locking herself in a safe space and discarding the key!
