Nun Carjacked at Gunpoint in Northeast, Police Say

A nun who was fully dressed in her habit was carjacked at gunpoint in Northeast D.C., police say.

The nun was walking on Quincy Street in Brookland around 7 p.m. Monday to her parked car.

A man approached her, brandishing a gun and demanding her keys, police said.

She complied, and the man drove off in her car, police said.

People have NO respect for anything these days. No respect for life, property, the law, nothing.

How long will it be before people just pop their corks and start shooting people indiscriminately?

Oh the depravity! I would love to be in the courtroom when the judge hears this case. One can only hope they are Catholic.

That would be a mistake, giving the defendant reason for appeal or to toss the case based on religious based prejudice.
